[ACTION:]
[Let's not mince words about it--there are a number of things about the situation he's found himself in that Poland is profoundly uncomfortable with, starting with being surrounded by strangers and going all the way on up to the whole 'made subject to a whole new foreign power' thing.]
[But Poland isn't prone to giving up or despairing. He's less an optimist than he is goddamn stubborn, though it would be easy for an onlooker to mix the two up. And he's as determined as ever to make the best of his circumstances, which for everything else they entail, at least feature a whole lot less of Russia and Prussia and Austria than they used to. Count your blessings, right? When you think about it, now he just has ONE oppressor to pretend to get along with and ultimately win his freedom from, right? Progress!]
[And so he's counting his blessings on the side of the road near the middle of town, humming the main line of a song a little tunelessly as he draws something on the side of a handmade flier. The flier reads:
Join the Polish Cavalry's Troops in Exile! Bitchin uniforms! Sweet ponies*!
*supplies of ponies might be kinda limited right now but we'll get more <3]
[...And that appears to be a crude drawing of himself on a pony, kicking a trio of men in the face. Truly, this is the subtle art of propaganda at it's best!]

Did you mother drop you on your head a lot as a child?

[He legitimately doesn't seem bothered by it. Some nations have families, but they're mostly kind of adopted sibling sorts of things, and it's not really a big deal for those who don't, not the way it would be for a human.
What's your damage, anyway? Ohmigod, wait, like let me guess... Okay, so there was some kind of way-crazy freak accident, right? Like, I don't know, a pelican attack or something. And it totally ate your sense of humor!

There is nothing wrong with my sense of humor. I just fail to find you funny.

[He continues drawing, undeterred, scrawling a banner in the background.]
