[This was probably the last thing she thought would happen to her. It was one thing to be stuck in this strange place, it was enough to be here as a duck. She didn't have her pendent, so what was she going to do? She would have to live as a duck, but in this strange place, she wasn't sure if she wanted to. She let out a small sigh. There really wasn't much she could do in this situation. Although a thought did cross her mind.

She went to search for water, no matter how little it may be. She was positive she wouldn't be able to return as a girl and she promised Fakir that she would be her true self. What harm was it to make sure, though? Once she found a fountain dripping slowly, she ran under it to see if it would work. Once she was hit with the water drop, she braced herself out of habit to see if she would change back.

Nothing happened.

Letting out another sigh, she went on her way, examining where she might be. It wasn't like she could just ask around to see how she got there or where she was. No one would understand her. Passing by a store, she noticed something from the corner of her eye.]

No, it's nothing. Keep on walking, Duck....

[She couldn't help but to look again. What she saw was not what she expected.]

What?! Is that--- It is! But how?!

[In the store display, she saw that familiar pendent that she knew anywhere. She instantly ran to go grab it, waiting for someone else to open the door to the store. Once she got in, she maneuvered her way to the display, trying to get to the pendent. Just before she was about to grab it with her beak, someone reached for it.]

No! I need that! Quack! Quack!!

[Please get through to the person.... Please!]

[Mytho doesn't know why he grabbed the pendant. He hasn't quite recognized it, so he doesn't particularly feel like he likes or dislikes it. But something about it draws him to it.

Then he looks down as he hears the quacking.]

A duck...?

[Mytho! Mytho was here too? But didn't he return to the story? And... he didn't seem to recognize her... Didn't he find out that she was Princess Tutu when she handed him her pendent-- no... last heart shard...?]

[That duck sure is quacking. And no one's telling him he shouldn't heed the duck, so he listens. He leans down to face her.]

[Once he kneeled down, she pulled at the pendent chain, giving him a look as if saying please.]

[He ponders as he looks down towards the pendant and then towards the duck.]

[She simply nodded. It didn't seem that he knew who she was. That was a shame... She'd have to figure out what was going on after she changed. It might have been a good idea to just turn into Tutu. It might be safer.]

[Even if he feels something odd about this pendent, he also feels it's right for this duck to have it. So he releases his hold on it.]

[He let go! Good! She knew he probably would, but for now, she just ran off with it to find the bathroom. Getting a drop of water, she knew changing back would be uncomfortable. Falling off the sink, she couldn't help but to let out a small ow. Getting up, she snuck out and grabbed the closest dress and retreated back to the bathroom and changed.

Once she changed, she turned into Princess Tutu. At least when she went back to being Duck, she wouldn't be naked. She snuck out of the bathroom. Once she was in a good spot to act as if she'd just casually strolled in...]

What are you doing here, my prince?

[Mytho basically just stands still the entire time without anything to really do. He of course doesn't make any connection, anyway. He may not have many positive emotions yet, but he does seem surprised to see her. And something resembling pleased, as he step slightly towards her.]

[Makoto had only picked up the pendant to take a look at it. He wasn't going to take it, honest! But when he hears the sudden quacking, he blinks, glancing around for a moment before he finally catches sight of her. Is that... a duck?]

Huh? How did you get in here?

[That's weird... Though, to be fair, he's still pretty new here, too, so everything's still weird to him.]

[He's a little hesitant to hand it over, if only because he knows that it would be easy for someone to take something that didn't belong to them. She did seem pretty set on it, though...]

[She nodded again to that. Once she had the pendent, she could talk and figure out what's going on. She did promise Fakir that she would stay her true self like he would, but was there really any other option?]

[Well, it doesn't seem like he has much choice. Maybe he could hand it over and ask around later, just to be safe? Yeah, that seemed like a good plan. He smiles and lowers the necklace for her to take.]

[Wonderful! He's giving it to her. She was so excited to get it back that she didn't take in account that... uh... she's naked. Immediately realizing, her face turned a bright right, grabbing the closest dress she found to at least cover herself.]

P-Please excuse me for a moment.

[She ran off to hide and change into the dress she grabbed. She was surprised to find out that it fit her perfectly. Peeking out shyly]

[Occasionally Iroh was known for going out and spending a little more than he probably should. It came with coming from royalty he supposed. There was just something fun about finding souvenirs and knick knacks. Not that material things were a substitute for happiness, but they could certainly occupy your time. He reached out to grab a pendant, not particularly interested in it. This was more a young man's gift to a prospective girl, but looking back he remembered the times he spent with his own wife. The quacking of the turtle ducks by the pond, suddenly seemed very vivid.

He pauses for a moment, the quacking was really quite insistent, he didn't recall that. With a glance around he noticed a small duck. ]

Ah, hello there my little friend. I didn't see you there, my apologies. I was thinking of some memories long ago.

[That didn't take long. Thank god. She cocked her head to the side at that comment. Just for that moment, she was more curious about what he was thinking of rather than the pendent.]

[He had met several very intelligent creatures in his travel, and this duck, strange that it was not a turtle duck, or a komodo duck, or even a duck snake. This world would take some getting used to, he supposed.

Realizing he was staring a bit to long, he cleared his throat]

My apologies, I am not accustomed to your form, little one. I was thinking of a time long ago when I was a younger man. Not so gray of hair, and had more of it too, haha! There was a pond in the gardens, filled with turtle ducks, we would spend time there occasionally... my family and I.

[She really didn't expect to come across someone like the gentleman in front of her. Of course the pendent was important, but listening to him just made her want to cheer him up. He seemed like a really nice person.

She did need that pendent at least. It would be easier to talk to him as a girl, but even so, she'd need water to turn back. She lightly tugged at the pendent chain as if to say she needed the pendent.]

[She gave him a smile and took the pendent. She rubbed against his hand as if to say thank you and ran off to the bathroom. Water... She needed water. After maneuvering her way up to the sink, she waited for a drop of water. All she could do was brace herself because this couldn't be comfortable to turn back to a girl in a sink.

Sure enough, she fell to the ground after changing back. She took a moment to get up and then... realization hit. She was naked. It wasn't like she came with any clothes either. She snuck out of the bathroom, grabbed the closest dress she could find, and returned back to the bathroom to change. Now that she was changed, she snuck out again, trying to act as if she'd been looking around. She'd just have to pay for the dress later if they were okay with that. Ironically enough, the dress was a perfect fit.]

A-ah, hello!

[After the duck had taken the pendant, Iroh assumed the matter was closed and smiling to himself proceeded to examine some more items with interest. At an odd little statue making a weird face, he proceeded to match the face as he looked at it. Naturally as was often the case, this is when someone approached him.]
