Reserves are open and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test flight for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

o1. The grocery store is out of food. What do you do?
o2. Wing injury! Call for help or stagger your way to one of our fine clinics.
o3. It's a busy evening at Good Spirits, one of Luceti's local bars. Do you dare try the drink specials?
o4. Have a talent for playing music? Try Cloud Nine's open mic night!
o5. Beach party? Snow party? Leaf-raking party? Gardening party? YOU DECIDE.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

Above all? HAVE FUN. Oh. And don't forget to RESERVE your characters.

[Of course! Ditty's changing back from her jacket to a rake, and Blue starts working on gathering them. It'll take a little longer than before since she wants to make it even bigger, and that means going all around the yard to get leaves, but... Hey! It's in the name of fun!

It always helps to have help though, and Blue's got an extra rake just in case some sucker someone decided they wanted to give her a hand. It also served as a great guide for Ditty's transforming, so... She nods to it on the ground.]

We're going to make a much bigger one this time, all right?

[...okay, compared to humans his age (19 going on 20), he's on the shorter side -- maybe like 5'4"-ish, give or take a few inches. But still, he's definitely an odd sight. (Plus that hair is probably going to whip someone in the face.)]

[It's a draft! Everyone run for cover because we got a Third Partier all up in the hizzy OH WAIT that's just Birdy with his wings out, never mind. Please don't attack him (translation: please do).

Alternatively, he might swoop in and ferry you out of danger in a very heroic princess carry! ...or maybe he caught you in his talons by the back of your clothes or something if you were falling to your doom. That also works.]

A [Guess who is rooting through the item shop? This guy. Why? For marbles. Not really marbles, but they're about the size and roundness of a marble. If someone asks it's for marbles.

But it's for his Mega Stones. His Floette is helping too, lifting lighter objects and putting them aside.]

I wish I had some help, but it's not like those guys would have any idea what to look for. What do I tell them? Little stones that can evolve Pokémon past their current forms? At least a few of them believed me, but... [Yes, he's talking to himself. Well. To his Floette, who sighs sympathetically. It's okay. They'll find them.]


B [And for the less scavenging hunt inclined Calem can be found rollerskating around and doing the wickedest of tricks. Like back flips and the Cosmic Flip like damn dude's got game. Be jelly. And in awe. Constant awe.]

[An extra rake! Awesome. He's never used a rake before, but it's not particularly difficult to use. It's just a new experience.]

How big are you thinking? [Big enough for everyone?

Wh-- Hey! [Well, she was jumping them anyway.] You really don't know how to treat a nice girl, do you? Pulling young women shamelessly into leaves --

[-- while said "nice girl" is busy throwing other fallen things, like nuts and junk, at your face. Since it's just there and all.]

Hmm... As big as we can make it with the leaves we have?

[That's a good estimate. They can even steal some from other yards -- surely they'd be more than glad for the help.]

[If Haru had been the sort to care, he might have found Felicia's appearance odd. A barely dressed cat woman? That's like something out of a video game, not life as he used to know it.

But he barely noticed her; his eyes were solely fixed on the water as he stripped down to his swimming trunks right then and there -- with startling speed and absolutely no hesitation -- and dove into the water, possibly splashing Felicia on the way in, but definitely ruining any chance of fish being caught.]

[Very heroic.

But Haru doesn't look terribly impressed, even if he's being saved from bears. Apparently bears mind people swimming in rivers that happen to have the fish they want. Who knew?

That said, he's grateful for the help -- as much as he hates to admit it, being in the water with an angry bear is probably not a good idea -- even if it means all his clothes (other than the swimwear he's wearing) have been left behind. But his thanks is something he can voice when he's not being carried by a... bird... person...

All things considered, though, Haru's probably the calmest rescuee ever. He doesn't wriggle, he doesn't complain, he doesn't shout, he doesn't ask questions. He just hangs onto his saviour with his arms so he doesn't fall.]

[It's normally the kind of thing that he'd just ignore. But Haru ends up watching Calem from his crouched position near some bushes, a skewer of grilled mackerel still in his mouth and about five different stray cats nibbling at small chunks of fish in his hands.

He ain't jelly, but he can appreciate people being good at what they do.

But when Calem draws nearer with those sweet flips, it startles the cats, who run off towards the bushes... except for one that shoots across Calem's path.]

[Deadpool's presence in Luceti had a mixed reception for Ralph. On one hand? Finally, someone who seems to be self-aware like him. It was so weird being around all those people who had no idea they were from other video games.

On other hand? It's Deadpool. Not exactly the most coherent person to try to converse with.

Ralph sighs as he pauses plowing snow in the front of his house (with his giant bare hands) to address the mercenary.]

Can you pipe it down already? Geez, do you always get this uppity when you don't have a Capcom to Versus?

[And that makes Calem do a flip over the cat, but he doesn't quite stick his landing and ends up on the ground with an aching head and probably a sprained ankle. Ow.

Haru, you are now his number one cat associate.]

[It's not schizophrenic if there's someone he's talking to! Daisy twirls up in surprise of a new voice, while Calem's startled himself. Well, that goes to show you can't talk out loud even here.]

Are you volunteering yourself to aid me?

[Deadpool will have you know he is more than just a video game, several for the record, there is also a number of comic series that he both stars in and makes appearances. Not to mention film appearances, and perhaps eventually his own film]

We could use this as a training exercise.

So mercenary business is like a Yorozuya business, yes? You do jobs for money aru? Is it hard to breathe in a mask like that? I want one too, but can I have that one? Red is my color aru, so I do not think it would be good if we both had the same mask.
