Reserves are open and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test flight for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

o1. The grocery store is out of food. What do you do?
o2. Wing injury! Call for help or stagger your way to one of our fine clinics.
o3. It's a busy evening at Good Spirits, one of Luceti's local bars. Do you dare try the drink specials?
o4. Have a talent for playing music? Try Cloud Nine's open mic night!
o5. Beach party? Snow party? Leaf-raking party? Gardening party? YOU DECIDE.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

Above all? HAVE FUN. Oh. And don't forget to RESERVE your characters.

[And that makes Calem do a flip over the cat, but he doesn't quite stick his landing and ends up on the ground with an aching head and probably a sprained ankle. Ow.

Haru, you are now his number one cat associate.]

That was close. Is the cat okay?

[Haru watches the unharmed cat dart off into safety. Yes, the cat is okay. But his attention turns back to Calem, who's totally stacked it. He frowns -- he doesn't particularly want to help this guy -- and his next words are quiet, spoken more to himself than to Calem.]

What a pain.

[Leaving the remains of the fish in his hands on the ground and wipes off his fingers, Haru stands and approaches, speaking to Calem.]

Where does it hurt?

[At least the cat's safe. Tres bien. Calem leans down to push in the wheels of his shoes and smiles.]

My ankle. It's not the first time this has happened and it won't be the last, but I'll be grateful for the help. At least to someplace I can soak it.

[He won't ask anymore, Haru.]

[Likely sprained, then. It's annoying, but the nearest place is the apartment he's staying at.]

My place is closest.

[Silently, he offers a hand to help Calem up, and will provide a shoulder to lean on without complaint.]

[He takes it and will gratefully lean against Haru too. As nice as Kalos.]

I don't even get your name before you take me back to your place? [Haha. He's only joking.] Sorry to be a bother, but I won't overstay my welcome.

[If Haru understood the joke, he made no indication of it, keeping his expression neutral.]

...Nanase Haruka.

[But Haruka doesn't ask for Calem's, leaving him to offer it if he wants to. Honestly, he would have no problem with Calem staying a bit longer after they take care of his ankle, even if he'd only make the bare minimum effort to make his guest feel welcome.]

Were all those cats strays?

[Haru raises his eyebrow... slightly. Looker... weird name. But who's he to judge, when he's a guy with a girly name?]

They came when I was grilling mackerel.

[So... yes, probably strays.

Haru hadn't been kidding when he said that his place was closest though. One turn later and they're right at the entrance of the apartments he's staying at. There's still a faint lingering smell of fish, attracting two cats to curiously poke their nose around the corner while Haru fishes in his pockets for his keys. One miaows plaintively.]
