Hey, wing folks on the network, get a load of this!

[The video shifts from a grinning Howard, to a stack of root beer soda cans. Only they aren't just any soda cans. Upon closer inspection (and don't worry he moves the journal around just so everyone can see it) there is a clear image of Howard's image on the cans of soda. Yes. Howard Stark has his image on soda cans.]

I don't know who used my image without my express permission first, but I have to say they didn't do a half bad job. They even caught my good side - course it's all good. I would have to question their decision to make my tie yellow, but it isn't that big a flaw to overlook the grand image. Plus, how many men can say they have ever had their image plastered onto one of these? Not many, I know for sure.

[He sets the journal down for a moment, the camera put to focus on the cans, and the distinct sound of a can popping open can be heard. Howard picks up the journal again after taking a sip and grins.]

Not like the real thing at all really, but it has a tangy taste to it. Who wants one, on me? Put it on your shelf after you're done, it could be worth something if you can sneak it out of here.

You cannot deny it is quite the 'visage'. Minus the gaudy yellow tie. But, don't worry about cradling it all over this village - can't make the others jealous. Already got one of them catching green-eyed monster.

I think I may know who it is you are talking about. [The thought makes her huff a soft laugh.] Oh, I don't know Monsieur Howard. I may have seen better. I most certainly have seen worse, I will give you that.

Have you now? I can't claim to be the most handsome man 'till it's statistically proven, but I bet I can make you change your mind easily. Perhaps over a friendly dinner?

You would ask a woman to dinner without knowing her name? I do not know whether I should be flattered or amused.

Hm. That is an oddly compelling argument Monsieur. [A moment of consideration, maybe two, before she chuckles.]

Doctor Adele LeBlanc, it is...[odd, baffling, interesting,] a pleasure to make your acquaintance.

My, a Doctor? You fix people and I, as an engineer, fix machines. How alike we are. The pleasure is all mine, and I can spare you some if you want of course.

Machines, at least, do not threaten to sue if they feel you are not capable enough to treat them. [She quirks a brow.]

Perhaps we should put off sparing pleasure until after dinner.

Oh, but the people who asks for the machines get so riled up if even a single tiny bolt is missing. [He waves a hand.] If you insist, mademoiselle.

Bolts, bones, both come with a few extra. A man does not truly need all his ribs- [Joking, she's joking, and her smile betrays that.]

I've my good name to uphold, Monsieur Howard. I am afraid I must insist.

Maybe not, but they are helpful. [He'd like to keep his ribs intact at least.] Reputations are always a double-edged sword - with fame comes notoriety. I wouldn't want to sully anyone's name without reason.
