A. [Action]
[Something about staying cooped up in a room just didn’t sit right with Levi, he had to be doing something. Anything productive would be nice. He had probably wiped down everything so many times that it wouldn’t be surprising if things actually sparkled.
Perhaps he should find himself some kind of work, but it was difficult. It wasn’t that any task would be too hard, it was too plain awkward to find anything else. Compared to what he had done for years to suddenly feel like life was just child’s play… it was annoying.
On a bright side, at least he got his clothing back to feel somewhat familiar, but the whole talking animals thing was something he would never get used to. He didn’t need a pestering cat watching him every time he would step outside.]
B. [Voice]
[In a monotone voice, yet if paid attention closely enough it would sound slightly strained. He really didn’t like feeling like a spoiled brat, especially coming from a place where rations were always a major concern.]
So all this free stuff that stays plentiful and electricity thrown in just for the hell of it... Although it’s great, it’s goddamn sickening as well. Kids are going to get lazy.

[Action] (Is this cool?)
As he made his way through the streets of Luceti, his eyes caught sight of a familiar green cloak and for a split second, he assumed it was Jean he was seeing. Then his brain caught up with the full image and he immediately felt silly for thinking such a thing. There's no way this guy could've been Jean. Even aside from being too short, there was the black hair. That could only mean someone else from their home had arrived in Luceti! It wasn't somebody Marco recognized at first glance, but that didn't stop him from approaching the man.]
Excuse me?
[Action] (yes, no worries!)
His gaze was down at his feet, not particularly looking at anything as he fell into thought. Although it wasn't necessarily his fault, he had the feeling in his gut that he was slacking off and that he had abandoned his duties. It only pissed him off, but he made a quiet grunt to himself as reaction to his ridiculous thoughts. Before he could get more upset he heard a voice and his thoughts dispersed.]
What?
[He turned around and for a moment his eyes widened, but barely. That uniform... and although he hardly got to know anything about the kid, he knew by records. He decided to not bluntly mention the obvious though.]
Bott. Well I suppose I'm not in hell because you're here.
[Action]
The surprise became replaced with an awkward grin. Pointless as ranks may have been in Luceti, he still didn't want to insult a superior officer.]
Ah... I'm sorry, I don't think we've ever been introduced?
[Action]
You don't have to apologize because it is true we haven't met.
[He was used to either Erwin or Hange introducing him, but he decided to brush off the whole ranking thing because it was pretty useless, especially with someone that hadn't been technically under his command before.]
It's Levi. Just leave it at that, all right?
[Bringing up rank would only make him think he abandoned duties again and with how spoiled he felt in Luceti, he didn't feel like he earned his title.]
[Action]
Levi, then. It's very nice to meet you. [For a second, he wondered if he should salute, but then he figured there was very little point. If Levi didn't want to be addressed by rank, he wouldn't stand for salutes either.]
When did you arrive here?
[Action]
Not too long ago... I think.
[It was still a blur, maybe a few days?]
Not longer than a week. How about you? Is there anyone else? [Anyone from their home he meant and only cared about at the time.]
[Action]
I got here two months ago and Jean- Jean Kirstein- he arrived last month. [He wasn't sure if Levi would even know who Jean was, but considering his friend joined the Survey Corps, there was a pretty good chance of it.]
[Action]
His tongue clicked with a tch sound. He hoped there wasn't too much slacking off.]
So you, Kirstein, and now me. And yeah, if you're wondering I do know who he is. I don't give just anyone important duties. [Just thinking about it frustrated him more.]
[Action]
Really? That's great. I'm glad Jean's doing well for himself. [In a way, Jean was probably doing well for the both of them.] Then, you know Eren and the others too, right?
[Action]
I know more than enough about Yeager. [Personality-wise he meant.] By others if you mean Ackerman, Arlert, Springer and the rest of those that were in your class that are now in the Survey Corps, then yes.
[Action]
I hope they haven't been causing any trouble for you. [He remembered how often Instructor Shadis would scold them for one thing or another. Would things really have changed that much after graduation?]
[Action]
No. If they were causing too much trouble I wouldn't even bother. [Okay, there was a tiny lie in that, though at the same time everyone did have drastic changes. Raw personalities were the same, but reality had bitten everyone on the ass. However, he hadn't known everyone prior graduation so he grew curious.] Can they really be worse?
voice;
You're absolutely right! They won't know how to appreciate anything if it's just handed to them like that! They should have to fight to the death for it!
[...she sounds way too excited at the prospect.]
voice;
Fighting to the death is a little extreme isn't it? The loser wouldn't get a chance to learn.

voice;
Voice twin shenanigans, y/y?
[Law drawls. There's one person he's thinking of in particular here but he's not the only one of the bunch.]
Voice twin shenanigans, y/y!
[Of course not physically, it was more so his concerns about what he's supposed to be doing]
[action] yooooooooooo
He jogs over.]
Lance Corporal...!
[action] heyyyyyyyyyy
Kirstein. [He looked over after speaking before he let out a sigh.]
Just when I feel incompetent enough by being here, you are here as well. Great.
[He meant that in the nicest way possible and not to insult.]
[action]
Sorry...not like I chose to end up here or anything. [But the unavoidable truth of the matter is that, from what he can see so far, this world is preferable. He hasn't felt six steps away from his own gruesome end once since he arrived. And he hates thinking that way, but he can't stop it.]
[action]
I know. If it was an option you wouldn't even see me. [His arms cross as he stares at Jean. Although he sounds stern, he was genuinely curious.]
So, Kirstein... Since you're here and not home, what have you been doing with yourself?
[action]
Keeping up with training, so I don't go dull. Been going to school, too. [The kind of school where you learn about things that have nothing to do with combat or survival.]
