Reserves are open and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test flight for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

o1. The grocery store is out of food. What do you do?
o2. Wing injury! Call for help or stagger your way to one of our fine clinics.
o3. It's a busy evening at Good Spirits, one of Luceti's local bars. Do you dare try the drink specials?
o4. Have a talent for playing music? Try Cloud Nine's open mic night!
o5. Beach party? Snow party? Leaf-raking party? Gardening party? YOU DECIDE.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

Above all? HAVE FUN. Oh. And don't forget to RESERVE your characters.

I don't know how good I'd be at those... and I wouldn't want Haru-chan to worry. Or to be involved in anything dangerous.

[Because they're friends. They stick together. So if he went, Haru might want to go, and that would just... That could be really bad.]

I could go with you both if you'd feel safer. Haruka and I are good friends, so I'm sure he'd appreciate it.

[And by close friends he means they've talked a lot and kissed under a mistletoe.]

[Though really, Sasame is going to hide and use his powers without Haruka and Nagisa seeing. Because that's the last thing he needs.]

We could probably get Rin-chan to help us too! I know he wants a pool!

I think I've seen him around. What does he look like?

Tall, reddish hair.

[And... well... He lowers his voice and leans in close, glancing over his shoulder juuuust to be sure Rin's not there.]

Sharp teeth. Shark looking!

Oh I do think I've seen him around then.

[He's pretty sure anyway.]

We can bring him along too.

Cool! We can all go together. It'll be awesome.

[...So trouble. So much trouble with Nagisa.]

Oh I almost forgot, I'm Sasame. It'a nice to meet another friend of Haruka's. Or at least I assumed since Haruka is the only Haru I happen to know.

Nice to meet you, Sasame-chan! Any friend of Haru-chan's is a friend of mine!

[Yep. You're "-chan" now. Don't try to fight it. It happens to everyone.]

[Nagisa you're so adorable. He likes that. Though he does wonder something.]

I'm surprised he acts like such a grump despite having such a nice friend.

...A grump? Haru-chan?

[Nagisa blinked at that, staring for a moment. Then, he shook his head.]

Haru-chan's quiet, yeah, and a little serious, but he's really a great guy.

[soundcarrier]

He's called me a nuisance and annoyance a few times. So I've had my doubts.

[More like he's heard a few things, but...]

From what I can see, he needs someone who can help him open up.

[movesfast]

...He's probably lonely.

[It seems strange to say, but Nagisa means it.]

He's used to having Mako-chan around. Those two are really close. Mako-chan always knows what Haru-chan's thinking. So to not have him around...

He might just be dealing with that, Sasame-chan.

[soundcarrier]

You're probably right. Thinking on it, I've seen these types of situations before in my line of work.

[Oh whoops, he might confuse poor Nagisa so he explains.]

That being I'm a professional counselor who also has a talk therapy radio show. I suppose the professional in me wants to reach out and help him as best I can. But instead, he refused to even try talking with me.

[movesfast]

O--Oh! That's-- That's great, actually! You must help a lot of people!

[He means it, too. The smile is genuine. But it fades a little at his next thought. Still, though, there's one there. Just quieter. Softer.]

But Haru-chan... isn't like that. You have to let him be. He's really quiet, but... When he's ready to talk? He does.

It'll help if there's a pool. Especially one inside or heated. So he can always swim. That's when Haru-chan's happiest.

You could say that I do. And by the way, if you ever need someone to talk with yourself... Don't hesitate to find me okay?

[He enjoys his line of work very much, always being able to help others and listen so he can help them.]

For Haruka though, I suppose I feel that just leaving him alone might make things worse. I can see in his behaviors and expressions that things bother him yet he pushes away any help. Sometimes I wonder if he's always been this way even when he was young.

Haru-chan... He likes to try and deal with things on his own. He always comes around, though. The best you can do is just... let him know you're there and wait.

Mako-chan's better at it than I am. I get really impatient and try to bug him.

...Rei-chan's a lot like Haru-chan, I think. [Which worries him. Because he's not Mako. He's not good at just waiting.]

[soundcarrier]

Well I'm glad to be your friend and his, I'd like to be Rin's too. And even Mako and Rei's if they ever find themselves here. So you have a friend in me.

[His smile is genuine and warm at Nagisa, because he's being absolutely sincere about this.]

You'll really like Mako-chan if he ends up here, and I think he'll really like you, Sasame-chan.

And don't worry about Haru-chan. He just takes a little while to warm up to people.

Oh? What makes you say that? About Mako I mean. And I'll try, I guess it's in my nature to worry about my friends, especially ones I want to help.

Because Mako-chan's a lot like you. He always wants to help everybody, and he always knows just how to do it. He's really responsible like that.
