Reserves are open and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test flight for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

o1. The grocery store is out of food. What do you do?
o2. Wing injury! Call for help or stagger your way to one of our fine clinics.
o3. It's a busy evening at Good Spirits, one of Luceti's local bars. Do you dare try the drink specials?
o4. Have a talent for playing music? Try Cloud Nine's open mic night!
o5. Beach party? Snow party? Leaf-raking party? Gardening party? YOU DECIDE.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

Above all? HAVE FUN. Oh. And don't forget to RESERVE your characters.

[ It helps that Ikki has exactly zero knowledge as to what the Survey Corps are, although she's actually spoken to members of it before without realizing it. She's chatty. ]

Yeah, exactly!!! I don't think anyone actually does real tattoos here? I mean, I'm sure someone would know how to do 'em if you needed...grandpa probably knows how, but I don't know if we have the stuff we'd need for it? Or I guess needles and ink are probably pretty easy to find. But I don't think anyone really offers it outright.

[The Survey Corps being the primary representatives of their world probably helps their reputation a lot if nothing.]

That's probably for the best. That sort of thing isn't exactly reputable, and who knows what will stay with you when you go back home.

Unless we find a new way back, not a lot. I've known people who go away and come back having done stuff at home. They don't remember anything about Luceti, and they don't have anything they did here. Even if they grew up some here.

[ She shrugs, apparently unconcerned with this, although it's...well. Probably pretty worrying to think about. ]

They've completely lost their memories?

[The thought almost makes Petra's head hurt. How was that in the realm of any kind of possibility? Kidnapping and walling problem in, believable. Making people grow wings... not probable, but titans could regenerate limbs, so it might somehow or other be related to that.

But completely forgetting, even upon return? That doesn't make sense.]

How long have you been here?

[breezing]

Yeah, but they sometimes remember upon coming back to Luceti. Like, once they come back...everything just comes back. I dunno, I've never done it myself, but my family has before.

[ So she has no idea how it works, just...she knows that it happens.

She actually knows a surprising amount about Luceti, simply because of the answer to Petra's second question. ]

It'll be two years this summer.

[vertrauen]

Your family--you're not alone here, are you?

[Petra knows it's possible to survive on the streets, especially if the food and shelter happen to be free, but what kind of people were they to take young kids to fight wars? Petra may have started training early, but she hadn't been that young.]

[breezing]

Grandpa and Katara are here, and so're a lot of other people from home, although Bolin and Asami're the only ones from my time. And then I have a lot of friends here, and Soren...so, nope! There are people here.

[ Just...not her parents and siblings and aunt and uncle. ]

[vertrauen]

That's good. Even if even someone was watching out for you, I'd hate for you to be here without your family.

[Because Petra can't imagine how she'd fair without her father if she had been thrown in much younger.]

They don't expect you to fight, though, do they?

[breezing]

Me? Um, I got drafted once, but my family beat up the drones that came to get me, so I didn't have to go.

[ She gives a half-shrug. ]

And I'm not allowed to go on missions, but I don't think I'd wanna anyway.
