Reserves are open and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test flight for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

o1. The grocery store is out of food. What do you do?
o2. Wing injury! Call for help or stagger your way to one of our fine clinics.
o3. It's a busy evening at Good Spirits, one of Luceti's local bars. Do you dare try the drink specials?
o4. Have a talent for playing music? Try Cloud Nine's open mic night!
o5. Beach party? Snow party? Leaf-raking party? Gardening party? YOU DECIDE.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

Above all? HAVE FUN. Oh. And don't forget to RESERVE your characters.

Lugia | Pokemon Anime/Movieverse

[After a refreshing rain, those in the village might notice a faint occasional tremor. Puddles and glasses of water ripple with each one, reminiscent of Jurassic Park. A long shadow is cast across one of the streets, and a massive creature is easily seen towering above the houses as it... strolls through town. It even bends over to peer through the window of one of them.

Apparently unconscious of his own size, Lugia curiously wanders through the human settlement. Those milling about might want to look out for a swinging tail. While he does try to be careful about where he steps, there are no guarantees!]

[rashness]

[ And then the tail hit Rin - he was sent flying into a nearby exterior wall of the building with a small wail. Waaaaaah!!!

Ow ]

[Feeling his tail hit something, and the resulting crash and shout, the gigantic Pokemon pauses. Craning his neck he looks around and spots the fallen human.

Lugia then proceeds to turn around and lowers his head to look at what he had done. Oops?]

[rashness]

[ Well human with a tail (and pointed ears and slight fangs but those are less noticeable) And he starts to get up- dusting himself off and- ]

... Oh man, I lost my popsicle!

[ Because he had been holding one in his mouth - and now it's on the ground. He notices that first but then-]

... Oh! Uh. Hi. Wow.

[ GIANT BIRD THING... ]

[Close enough. He definitely wasn't a Pokemon.

Lugia watches for a moment until he is noticed. And the human person thing will then hear a voice, even though the Pokemon's mouth isn't moving.]

Are you all right?

[rashness]

Oh, yeah, I'm okay?

[ ... Wait. That was in his head - so like a demon? Is this a demon... ]

[Lugia bobs his head in a nod.]

Good. It was not my intention to harm you.

[rashness]

I wasn't lookin where I was going anyway... [ sheepishly ]

So, I haven't seen you around, I think.

[beastofthesea]

[Raising his head, Lugia looks off into the distance.]

I dwell in the sea.

[If it can be called as much.]

But I have not been here long and I am still unsure about what "here" is.

[rashness]

[ Oh, so it's not a bird, it's a... whale? Giant dolphin? Something like that--- WAIT! He leaps up a bit and scoots closer to the guy, concerned! ]

Wait, so do you need to get back to the water?! Is your skin gonna dry out of something?! Maybe you need some offerings?!

[beastofthesea]

[There is a look of surprise as he looks back down at the person.]

None of that will be necessary. I originally did not live in the water.

[rashness]

Oh, okay!

... Then how'd you get known for that?

[beastofthesea]

Long ago, when the balance of the world was threatened, I was tasked with overseeing those that rule over fire, ice and lightning. And to control my own power, I went into the depths of the sea and became it's guardian.

[rashness]

Oh... That's pretty cool of you! I mean, it must have helped a lot of people if you were overseeing fire and lightning like that, and you even made sure everyone was safe by limiting yourself too. That's really impressive!

[ Spreading his arms wide, tail wagging. Perhaps reading into it a little too much ]

To protect humans and Pokemon it was nessecary.

...You're a pokemon?

[ POKEMON GET THIS BIG... ? ]

I am.

[He hasn't seen Wailord.]

[rashness]

Oh.

... So are you looking for other pokemon?

[beastofthesea]

I can sense other Pokemon, but there are not many here.

[rashness]

Yeah, and a lot of them are living with their trainers at this one house at the north end of town.

Then that is for the best.
