Reserves are open and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test flight for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

o1. The grocery store is out of food. What do you do?
o2. Wing injury! Call for help or stagger your way to one of our fine clinics.
o3. It's a busy evening at Good Spirits, one of Luceti's local bars. Do you dare try the drink specials?
o4. Have a talent for playing music? Try Cloud Nine's open mic night!
o5. Beach party? Snow party? Leaf-raking party? Gardening party? YOU DECIDE.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

Above all? HAVE FUN. Oh. And don't forget to RESERVE your characters.

[Cue a certain Nagisa Furukawa, who has been back in Luceti for a few days now. Her memories had been a little hazy upon her arrival, but they're slowly coming back, and... among them is the fact that Leon had given her a necklace when she was last here -- a very special one, too. She has no idea where it has gone since she disappeared last though, and she's a little embarrassed to ask him directly about it. So she decides to give looking for it a shot first before poking him about it.

So here she is, peering around the first place that comes to mind for finding things: the item shop. She has a feeling it's not here, but... it's worth checking, isn't it? And so she walks around it, meticulously looking into shelves and being careful not to move things around too much.

...All while humming her favorite song, of course.]

[And Garry too is in the item shop today in search for a few personal items of his own. In fact, in the little while he's been here, he's come here nearly every day in search for his things. When he arrived he had heard that sometimes personal things show up here and while some of the things he's hoping to find aren't all too important, like his lighter and watch, he does hope that Ib's handkerchief is here. He had it with him before being brought here and it'd be terrible to lose it!!

During his search though, he looks over at Nagisa who's searching the shelves next to him and it notices she looks like she's trying to find something specific. Now what kind of gentleman would he be if he didn't offer his help!]

Is there something you need help finding, young lady?

[Hearing him address her makes her humming come to a stop as she flusters a bit over the question.]

--E-eh? Oh, um... N-no, I'm okay... Thank you though.

[She had planned on leaving it at that, not wanting to bother the guy, but... realistically speaking, it would be a lot easier to find the necklace with help. It's not like it's some giant item or anything; it could take some digging to find. So after a moment, she continues:]

...Or, well... I'm looking for a necklace.

[He tilts his head slightly at her response at first and starts to open his mouth to ask if she's sure when she speaks up again. To which he gives her a gentle smile]

A necklace, you say? Well I can certainly help you look for that! Might I ask what it looks like?

Mhmm. It's... it's actually a ring, but it should be on a necklace chain. As for what it looks like, um...

[..hrrrkk this is hard to remember off the top of her head. It's been so long... But she settles for raising her two index fingers, spacing them out from one another just a bit.]

It's about this small... And it's one of those double-banded ones. It looks kind of rainbow-colored in the light, too. Have you seen anything like that...?

[spoilers: it's not around]

[He gives a little hum as he tries to think back then shakes his head with a small frown]

I'm afraid I don't think I've seen a necklace like that around here... [Though it's possible he could've brushed it over since he's looking for things that are entirely different so...!] Though I'm sure it must be here somewhere! Perhaps if we look together we'll be sure to find it.

[She hadn't really expected him to have seen it, but she's still a little disappointed. Gah. She really hopes she finds it... It was a precious gift, and really helpful too.]

O-okay... thank you... [A beat, before she continues.] --But you were looking for something too, weren't you...? What are you looking for? While we look for my necklace, I could help find whatever you need as well.

[Yukari chews on her bottom lip as she looks through the item shop. While she understood now that this whole village had people coming from various different worlds, seeing the actual proof sitting in this one shop was still startling. So many trinkets and devices that didn't seem like things she'd ever find in a store outlet, and some other thing that seems innocuous except for brand names that didn't match up with anything she recognized.]

...You'd think after fighting monsters in a seemingly-nonexistent hour that something like this wouldn't faze me.

[She pauses when she notices the similarly-aged girl picking through the next shelf over, patiently waiting for her to finish so she can look as well.]

[Meanwhile, Nagisa is entirely absorbed in looking for what she came here for. As such, she actually doesn't even hear Yukari, much less realize she's standing beside her and waiting for her to finish.

So she might need a little poke so she can move over... otherwise, she may be here for a little while.]

[When it becomes more apparent that the girl is looking very hard at the shelf, Yukari steps closer and tilts her head with a smile, hands tucked behind her.]

Are you looking for something specific? You've been scanning that shelf for awhile.

Hm...? [Taking one last glance at the shelf, she directs her attention over to her bystander. ...How long has she been there...?! Oh dear.]

O-oh! I'm sorry... Did you want to take a look over here? But, um... I'm just looking for a necklace. But I can move, if you want.

[In fact she's already taking a step back to give Yukari some room.]

[She shakes her head quickly, even if the question was right on point.]

It's okay -- I'm not in a rush or anything. This is my first time in here, so it's a little overwhelming.

[Her first time here? Nagisa knows how often she used to stop by the item shop the last time she was in Luceti, so for this to be this girl's first, time... well.]

If that's the case... did you arrive in Luceti recently?

That's right. [She shrugs her shoulders briefly, trying to be a little dismissive about it.]

I guess it's pretty common, with the way there's so much in place to make sure you know about this place.

[She gives a slight bow.]

I'm Yukari, by the way. Yukari Takeba.

[She can empathize with that, really. She remembers how it was when she first arrived here a while back too. And so, trying to give Yukari some positivity, she smiles.]

Well, I hope you've been settling in okay, even if it is a little overwhelming... If you need any help with anything though, um... I'd be happy to help in any way I can.

It's nice to meet you though, Yukari. My name is Nagisa -- Nagisa Furukawa.

[At Nagisa's helpfulness, Yukari smiles more; even if she was initially weirded out by how many aids were out there for newcomers, a cheerful face in person was still very welcome.]

Nice to meet you, Nagisa. I think I've got a general rundown of Luceti; it's just a huge change from any normal city back home.

Like this shop -- it's packed for a tiny place like this.

Well, that's good at least... I know what you mean though. But at least it's very convenient and neat. I come here all the time since you never know what you may find, whether it's from home or something else.

[And then, taking another glance at the shelf, she adds:]

Just... when you're looking for something specific, it gets hard... Otherwise it can be fun.

[She follows Nagisa's eyes back to the shelf, looking a little concerned despite her words.]

You said you were looking for a necklace? I hope you haven't been looking for it too long.

[Because something as small and unnoticeable as a necklace in a place this packed with items... She didn't envy the other girl in the least.]

[That is her problem exactly... But she's determined to find it, so here she is regardless.

A nod.] Yes. Or well... It's a ring, actually, but I had put it on a necklace chain, so... I haven't been looking for too long though, I think.

[At the elaboration, Yukari sympathetically sighs a little.]

Well, I don't know how likely it is you'll find it today, but I'll tell you if I see anything. Two pairs of eyes are better than one.

[To that, her expression lights up, and she smiles in surprise.]

Really? If you could keep an eye out for it, I would appreciate that very, very much. Thank you!

[There's something so charmingly normal about the conversation that Yukari smiles right back at that immediate gratitude. In the middle of all of this, she'd been dreading surreal interactions that took her out of her comfort zone much in the same way being introduced to Persona and Shadows had done in the beginning.

But, other than the little wings that everyone had, Nagisa was pleasant and nonthreatening and didn't seem neurotic from living in Luceti. It gave her hope.]

Sure, I'm happy to help.

[What a kind person. Nagisa takes a moment to respond as she muses over that before a thought occurs to her.]

--Oh! Since you're here too... Are you looking for anything?

Well-- I was really just looking around. I like to shop, and I guess this is the closest I'm going to get to that.

[She momentarily looks embarrassed by her admission, but it soon turns into another smile.]

So helping to look for your necklace gives me something to do. A little selfish, I guess.
