Reserves are open and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test flight for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

[The last time Sophie was here, it was almost winter... or perhaps it already was. Her memory is a little fuzzy in that respect, but the weather being warm again must mean it's summer once more. How long has it been? Are any of her friends still here? And just how does her little garden fare?

After finding her things and changing out of her new feather dress (with some degree of difficulty, as she's used to Cheria helping her with these things back home), Sophie sets out on a quest to find some familiar faces. Even if you never met her before, she'll still greet you. Maybe you can help her out, after all.]

Hello... can you help me? I'm looking for some very important friends.

[Wow, it's almost like Tony knows Loki is capricious and temperamental or something.]

Oh no. You get the... let me remember how mortals put it. Ah yes. "The bitch seat."

[Mortal slang. Hilarious and terrible.

Loki sighs and withdraws his foot from one of the stirrups then offers Tony his hand.] Don't mistake this as a sign that I find you in the least tolerable.

[That last question... really, Tony?]

Do you believe that there is a problem to which no solution can be found?

[He's just a bit flustered at her compliment and beams as he responds.]

My name is Rock Lee! I am Konoha's Beautiful Green Wild Beast, and I am glad to help you! [He's always glad to serve so it's too easy to boss him around.] Please let me know when I should fan you!

(Well, at least, on the bright side, when Loki uses the ~mortal slang~, it gets a genuine burst of laughter from Tony. Because let's be real he was not expecting that. And it seems weird. But he approves. A+

Thank you, Loki. He'll be taking your hand right now, foot in the stirrup and hoisting himself up. He might not look ~large, but at least he's solidly built so he manages to clamber up on his own accord, for the most part. Bitch seat it is, and it could definitely be worse. His hand will go to the back of the saddle to hold on.)

[But he will stop sassing the kid and get back to concentrating. He has the actual movements down. Just not... the whole "leaf" thing. Yet.

His second attempt at charging in is better! Significantly so, but he's concentrating way too hard on actually making it out of there instead of paying attention to the wind currents. So he will inevitably get smacked around on his way out.

...at least he made it far enough to fall out the other side.]

[ Rapunzel stumbles back, still out of practice on her forms, but she's quick to lasso up her hair again and toss it at him. ]

Alright. Two loaves - and a slice of the banana pecan just for you!

[ She bags up the two loaves, and then moves back to the counter with the banana pecan bread to cut him a slice. ]

[Rock Lee springs forward, to try to catch her hair in his hand! But the lasso still falls over his shoulders.]

[He follows her to the counter, sniffing subtly at the air. Smells good, like it always does when she cooks.]

It's good to see you back here. It... wasn't really the same, finding someone else in this place.

[Beautiful is subjective, but the "green wild beast" seems to be right.]

You can start at any time - these things are starting to cramp up anyway. [She motions to her wings with a sigh. These things are definitely going to take getting used to. They're odd and uncomfortable.] I'm Blue, and this is Bull. Isn't he cute? ♥

[Bull looks up, bottle empty and stuck in his grumpy, underbite mouth.]

I am glad to meet you both! [He flashes a thumbs up to both of them.] Blue-san and Bull-san! I believe that he is indeed very cute! Well done, Bull-san!

[And he gives a slight gasp.] I do not want your wings to cramp, your very life depends on them! [And so some very dramatic fanning begins.]

[Naoto arrives at the clothing store shortly after Jude, and happens to be nearby as he's examining himself in the mirrors. She seems to be rather lost in thought.]

Yes, it is very peculiar...

[The comment's not explicitly addressed towards Jude, but instead seems to her speaking to herself and expressing a similar concern. How had they attached these wings? What purpose did they serve?]

[Naoto's first order of business had been to find out as much information about this place as she could, but when the child comes up to her, she can't help but lend a sympathetic ear.]

Can you tell me what these friends of yours look like?

[Truth be told, there was a part of her who hoped that she'd find her friends here, too, and seeing someone who came off as so young with such a similar struggle; well, it would be an insult to her profession not to help.]

[While Naoto's certainly woken up in worse situations, it doesn't stop her first morning in Luceti from being entirely unpleasant. Waking up in an unknown forest was disorienting, to say the least, but being coupled with a number of other strange occurrences made her wonder if she'd gone crazy.]

[To begin with, she was wearing a white dress that she certainly didn't remember owning, and felt rather uncomfortable in. Her trademark hat was missing, and, strangest of all, she was now sporting a pair of wings on her back. From what she could tell, they were rather well attached. They felt like a natural part of her body, but she didn't feel any pain or numbing, so it seemed unlikely that she'd undergone some sort of surgical procedure. The wings were grayish in color, with yellow highlights at the end; was this some sort of joke?]

[After Naoto finds her way out of the forest and finds her way back into her normal clothes, she sets about try to find out just where she is. As such, her first stop is the Welcome Center. What she needed was information, and a center aimed at "new arrivals" seemed like the most likely place to find it.]

[She'll spend the first few minutes in the Welcome Center looking through the all of the written materials that she can find, before approaching whomever she can find in the building.]

Excuse me, I have a few questions, if you wouldn't mind.

[Once she's done at the Welcome Center, she'll head to the Coffee Shop to go over what she's learned. She situates herself at a table alone, with a cup of coffee, and all of the Welcome Center materials (as well as her journal) strewn about in front of her.]

[She's still having a bit of trouble collecting all of the information, however, so the help of anybody who's more familiar with Luceti would be appreciated.]

[Not too far away from the detective prince is a familiar face. Of course, he's passed out cold, wearing the white pants of a New Feather and his baby blue and pink wings are back in place. He doesn't notice, because he's sleeping so peacefully.

A breeze blows through and he rolls over on one wing, muttering under his breath.]

...told you, old bag....Sunday...no school...zzzz.

Kanji Tatsumi | Persona 4

[While practicing his magic—his worst skill as a fighter, honestly—Kanji's Ziodyne strikes a tree. A large branch cracks from the top of the tree and falls. Unfortunately, the brawler's not fast enough and the piece of wood slices open one of his cutesy wings.

The pain is white hot, but he pushes it down with the skill of one accustomed to fighting through discomfort. Of course, the blood coursing from the injury is a little disconcerting. He's not a healer. Never had a single Dia spell to speak of. And no healing items.

And it's a good distance to the clinic.

Gritting his teeth, the teen fights to keep from passing out as he staggers through the village to one of the two clinics. But, he only makes it to the center of town before passing out temporarily.]

[When Kanji's not practicing his fighting skills at the battledome or in the forests or at school, he can be found knitting. The last time he was in Luceti, he hid himself in his apartment and worked on his plush toys. This time, however, he doesn't care and is sitting out at the cafe with all his materials spread out over the table, carefully working on a delicately cute thing.]

[The source of the voice is easy to track down, it doesn't take her long to find a familiar face. Kanji seemed to be wearing strange clothes as well, and it was hard to miss the large pair of wings he seemed to be using as a blanket. Were they in some sort of weird dream?]

[At any rate, she couldn't leave Kanji sleeping in the forest. If this wasn't a dream, they would be better off sticking together.]

Kanji-kun, it would be best to wake up now.

[She says it in the sternest voice that she can, but she's not sure it's enough.]

[The boy's scowl turns into a slightly pleased and embarrassed smile while his cheeks gather a little color on his otherwise pale face.]

Naoto, what're ya doin' in my room? This ain't one of...

[And suddenly, grey eyes fly open and he sits right up, hoping desperately that he was just dreaming.]

Yes, it would seem that we're no longer in Inaba. As to where this place is, however, I can't say.

[Naoto attempts to answer the question before he can ask it. It wouldn't do them to dawdle here too long; they didn't know what kind of wildlife might lurk in the forest, and it would be best to find out where they were as quickly as possible.]

[Still, was Kanji blushing? That did seem natural, she supposed; he had woken up somewhere unfamiliar in a compromising position. Perhaps their first course of action, then, should be to try and find suitable clothing?]

[Oh good, someone will help! Sophie nods- she can definitely describe her friends to Naoto.]

Yes, I can do that. [She's not too certain what they wear these days in Luceti, but she can describe what they looked like back home.]

Asbel is really tall, and he wears white and carries a sword... he always talks about protecting everyone. Oh, and he likes curry.

[That detail was totally important.]

Richard is really tall, too! He's a king, so he wears a cape, and he has long hair. He fights with a sword, too.

[Mortal slang is amusing, it truly is. And it does achieve a desired effect on Loki's part. Since he's decided he is going to give Tony a ride in to town (you know, unless Tony annoys him and then just gets dumped off the horse) better to make it a bit friendlier. He doesn't like having people at his back. It's the principle of the thing.]

Then there you have your answer. We were brought here by some means. I haven't seen convincing proof yet that there is such a creature as a one-way spatial door.

So then it is a question of finding the appropriate theory and then manufacturing the necessary devices.

( once the horse starts walking it does get some little friendlier. Or more intimate at least since Tony realised that just holding onto the saddled wasn't providing as much stability as he was hoping, which was why his hand moved up to Loki's hip, fingers curling into the fabric there. This is definitely one of the most awkward situations he's been is lately. It's just going to end up filed under: why and what is my life. There are quite a few things in that folder.)

True. And I suppose you've seen a lot when it comes to that kind of thing. What I know of black hole research is probably miles behind you.

(there was a thoughtful pause there, Tony just letting his mind wander for a moment.) So what kind of people do you have working with you trying to figure it out?
