Reserves are open and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test flight for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

o1. The grocery store is out of food. What do you do?
o2. Wing injury! Call for help or stagger your way to one of our fine clinics.
o3. It's a busy evening at Good Spirits, one of Luceti's local bars. Do you dare try the drink specials?
o4. Have a talent for music? Try playing DJ at HQ, the new nightclub! Don't have one? Just dance your butt off.
o5. Beach party? Snow party? Leaf-raking party? Gardening party? YOU DECIDE.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

Above all? HAVE FUN. Oh. And don't forget to RESERVE your characters.

[Make yourself comfortable why don't you? Not that Remy wouldn't offer the seat, eventually. However he couldn't stop a laugh at Peter's ongoing use of his nickname for Rogue. He is about to correct him then thought better of it. It would be so much funnier to see the fallout, which no doubt would end up with Rogue chewing Remy out. Again.]

Go with the first one. We all 'visitors' for our lovely, evil, alien captors. 'ctually, closer to science experiments. They poke us, see what we do, how we run 'round a maze, stuff like that.

Fun times. [Remy slides one of the shots he had in front of him over to Peter, it looked like the man needed it.]

[Don't mind if he do-- Peter isn't really one for permission when the chair is right there.]

[Peter looks at the shot, sighs and takes it.]

Not again. [And he knocks it back. How many prisons was he going to land himself in before something killed him for good?] Guessin' it's not the Nova Corps, they spray you with a hose instead of givin' ya fun sized wings. Wouldn't peg the Kree for it either. So who is it?

[None of those names meant anything to Remy, but that didn't surprise him, there were so many different universes running around.] They go by the Malnosso Organization.

As for those wings, take care of them, they linked directly to ya life. Ya lose them, game over... for a week or so.

Sinister. Sounds like a pasta dish. [Peter looks around for a bar tender so he can get another shot.]

Wait, my life? [Bartender search abandoned.] Sorry man, I'm pretty sure that I don't have one of those anymore. Totally wrapped my hand around an Infinity stone, pretty sure I'm dead now. ...which... not sure why you're here if you're not but--

[Shot, need a shot. Remembering that he's probably dead doesn't help anything, but the worst part is that he's pretty sure he also got Gamora, Drax, and Rocket dead along the way.]

[Ok, this did sound like it needed more alcohol. Holding a hand up to indicate Peter to wait, Remy pushes himself out of his seat and heads over to the bar, only to come back with a couple of more shot glasses and a bottle. Setting down a second glass in front of Peter, he got himself comfortable once more.

This sounded like a long explanation.]

'm sure 'm someone's idea of heaven, [Remy answers as he fills the two glasses in front of Peter.] If it ain't ya's, then ya just got bad taste.

None of us be dead here. This place be a meltin' pot of a whole bunch of universes all stuck in the one place, from different times too. Ya may be dead, or dyin' where ya from, but here ya very much 'live.

Provided ya don't do something too stupid.

...are you hitting on me, man? [This guy apparently just bought them a whole bottle of something, then basically said he was everyone's slice of heaven. Well, at least he got a drink this time--]

You know, last time a guy made unwanted advances on me, a walking tree stuffed roots up his nose. Just sayin'.

[Shot. Shot now. Peter isn't too unnerved right now, the galaxy was made up of all sorts, but he's not stupid. Peter, if he does say so himself, is a dream too.]

And what can I do around here that's 'too stupid'? Seems like a walk in Pinocchio.

[Remy raises an eyebrow in a 'wtf' look aimed directly at Peter, before reconsidering his options and giving the man a proper once over. Nope, not interested. To start with, there were some major insecurity problems.

And Remy did not want to start on the tree thing.]

Non homme, [Before moving the bottle closer to his side of the table. If it's unwanted, Remy will take it and finish it later.] Just payin' forward what was gifted to me when my ass landed here. It be a lot of merde to take in, alcohol helps to numb the craziness 'til a bit 'nd make it easier to take in.

Walking tree, sentient. I mean, he was technically doing me a solid because I was his bounty target, but I appreciated it anyway. This guy had fingers the size of benches, do you have any idea how much that would have--

[Peter watches the bottle drift away. No bottle, come back!] Okay, yeah, I went off there a little. Somebody got you trashed in the middle of all this 'craziness'? That seems a little dangerous.

[Ok, Remy wasn't sure they were on the same page, but he was starting to wonder if Peter was ever on anyone's same page...]

Not 'xactly trashed, but 'nough to help the information go down. Not everyone who shows up here be use to the idea of aliens, let 'long alternative universes. Find a mix of folks here.
