Reserves are open and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test flight for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

o1. The grocery store is out of food. What do you do?
o2. Wing injury! Call for help or stagger your way to one of our fine clinics.
o3. It's a busy evening at Good Spirits, one of Luceti's local bars. Do you dare try the drink specials?
o4. Have a talent for music? Try playing DJ at HQ, the new nightclub! Don't have one? Just dance your butt off.
o5. Beach party? Snow party? Leaf-raking party? Gardening party? YOU DECIDE.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

Above all? HAVE FUN. Oh. And don't forget to RESERVE your characters.

Where there are treats, Vanellope is bound to be nearby. She doesn't even frequent the shrine all that often, but she does sometimes pass it by while she's looking for things to do, or strangers to bother. She's especially thankful she's decided to wander by today.

"Cookies!" She doesn't give any other warning - in the next second, she's glitched herself across the street and over to Usagi's plate of free cookies. (Well, she assumes they're free, anyway.)

"I'll take one, thank you!" With that, she swipes a bunny-shaped one without asking, and immediately chomps its ear off.

Only to promptly spit it out and twist her face into one of shocked disgust. (More shock than disgust, at least?)

"What's in that thing!"

NEVER apologize for Vanellope, she's too darn cute!!

Usagi, bless her, only narrowly manages to not send the plate and cookies flying when Vanellope glitches over to her, and only just. She was not expecting small teleporting children! But it's a small teleporting child who wants one of her cookies, so that's okay, and Usagi beams right up until Vanellope spits out her cookie.

"Hey, what'd you do that for?" She's more shocked than hurt, for the moment anyway, so no waterworks just yet.

The ones who do play all the time. Most don't aim well with only their hand.

[ Ivan hadn't known at all and doesn't realize that Pommy just now came over. So, he wonders if there is a very logical reason for not noticing his presence earlier. ]

"What'd you make those for?" Vanellope energetically waves a hand at the not-cookie spit on the ground. "They're gross, is what they are!" She gives an enthusiastic shudder. Bleh. She can still taste it on her tongue, too. Gross.

"Eeeeh!" Usagi scowls and scolds Vanellope for a moment. "It's very rude to insult a girl's cooking, just because it's something you don't like! My cookies and delicious!"

As if to prove her point, she takes one, pops it in her mouth, and aggressively starts chewing it. She'll prove her cookies are deli... cious...

Usagi's face contorts a bit as the taste hits her, though she actually manages to chew and swallow the cookie.

"...Oh." Her bottom lip wobbles a bit as she looks down at the rest of the cookies on her plate. "I don't know what happened, I followed the recipe... Stupid cookies..."

"So I ought to prey now, or after we've finished the rum?" Either is appropriate.

A larger than life man leans down to look over the cookies, as if with an appraiser's eye. He gives a grumpy sigh.

"Doesn't this place have more than enough sugar already?" Sure, it's no Sugar Rush, but he feels like he sees enough sweets as it is. That, and he may or may not be complaining just for the sake of complaining.

Ninja are masters of stealth. They live in the shadows and come out to complete their missions with the greatest efficiency.

"EEEH?" Usagi, thankfully, had had time to process Ralph's size on his way over (though wow, he is VERY BIG), but these words coming out of his mouth are baffling and inexcusible.

"No no no," she says, shaking her head emphatically, "Sweets are good for making friends and keeping up your strength! They're a very important part of any diet!"

Also she really likes sweets. But that's secondary here, really!
