[Anyone who happens to be in the library may see a rather odd sight. Well, a book lying on a table isn't so much. But a small bird, a mourning dove to be precise, on top of it isn't quite so normal.

And said bird looks like he's reading the book. In fact every now and then he flips a page with a wing.

Bother him? Chase him out of the library? Something else entirely?]

[So, little birdy, do you hear that music? It's probably playing very softly, somewhere in the ultimate version of Luceti. You know, the one that comes with a ready soundtrack always playing in the background?

Foot had seen the bird, of course, perched on top of one of the library tables. That tantalizing flash of grey feathers, the slight mincing steps as the dove moved to turn the pages. Perhaps Foot, being as short as she was and therefor not seeing the book, could be forgiven for thinking that this was simply a stray bird that had gotten trapped inside the library.

Stray, and therefore a legal target for hunting practice.

She's circling the table right now, trying to determine the best place to jump up and pounce from.]

[Is that... a bird reading in the library?

A bird... Reading...? Um.

Capell was just looking around, but when he spots the bird, he stops. And stares. Is this normal?]

[But Nageki doesn't want to be eaten! But then as cats don't really seem to exist in his world, he only really knows of stories about cats liking birds and mice.

As luck would have it though, he finishes up the book and places it under a wing and heads over towards a shelf to get another book.]

[At least Nageki doesn't mind being stared at. Though his first assumption would be that Capell wants to read the book he's reading. He flips another page.] I'm nearly done with it.

[He's heard about these things, but he's definitely never seen it before.]

[Bird on the move! Foot crouches down where she's been studying the table's edge from, her little butt wiggling as she gets herself set up for the leap--

She's in the air and halfway to her intended prey before she realizes that this bird is carrying a book. Startled, surprised, and more than a little chagrined, the squeaking yowl she makes as she does her best to twist away mid-air is definitely impressive. As is the four point boneless landing she manages only a scant few inches from Nageki. She eyeballs the dove for a scant second before sitting straight up and starting to bath herself in a 'I meant to do that' way.]

[Being in the library reminds Emil of being at home! The quietness, the neat lines of shelves and spines, that unmistakable thick, dusty smell of book glue and paper... ahhhh. He takes a deep breath (how, he doesn't know, since he doesn't have lungs to speak of, but his current existence is something of a mystery in any case, so he doesn't worry about that) and floats by the shelves, looking for something interesting to read.

Instead, he seems to have found... a bird of some kind? Reading?
