Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test drive for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

[ The mere fact that this teenage girl was here, in another world, wearing completely inappropriate clothes for the season (whether it be her short sleeved spring uniform or the bunny girl outfit) made her shiver, trying her best to walk around in the snow, but she has been completely failing at it every single time, falling flat on her face.

This may not be her first day in Luceti, but getting used to a place like this was not easy.

Especially when every other second, she was shivering, her teeth were chattering, and she could barely say a single word without stuttering. ]

W-why is it so cold....!

[ Do you dare bother the maiden in distress? ]

[avaricious]

Maybe you need someone to warm you up, darling.

[So says the guy who doesn't look any older than her, but has a voice a wee bit too masculine for his age.]

E-e-eh?

[ Mikuru's eyes are wide in surprise as she stares at him in awe and confusion. ]

You'd... [ A small pause as she gulps nervously, uncertain if she should trust this stranger. ] You'd really help me?

[avaricious]

Of course I would. I'm just a helpful kind of guy. You can tell, right?

[Totally a trustworthy looking face.]

Um...

[ Her voice is soft as she gives him an awkward stare, tilting her head as she gives him a deer in the headlights look, slightly confused. ]

I'm not sure... I'm sorry.

[Luckily, Koizumi was able to find the clothing store and bundle himself up in a suitable number of layers before fully braving the weather. This familiar face, however, didn't seem so fortunate. After watching from afar long enough to conclude that yes, she probably would need help sometime soon if she wasn't going to freeze over completely, Koizumi decides to approach with his hands nestled in his coat pockets.]

Well, well. Miss Asahina, what a surprise.

[ The redhead blinks twice, tilting her head to the side before opening her mouth, closing it, and then opening it up again to speak in a soft, light voice. ]

Koizumi-kun? You're here too...?

[expositsuki]

[He shrugs lightly and raises his palms in an arc, the very picture of smiling helplessness.]

It would appear so. I was enjoying a quiet dinner at home when it happened. Imagine my surprise when I suddenly found myself in the snow.

[After a thought, he unzips his heavy outer jacket with the intention of giving it to Mikuru. He's used to seeing her in these outfits, but it's really too sad a sight in this weather.]

I see.

[ She then takes the jacket from the underclassman, smiling gently at him as she gives a small nod in thanks. ]

Um... thank you, Koizumi-kun.

[expositsuki]

[Koizumi smiles pleasantly in return, and he is lucky that Kyon isn't around to pulverize his face into a thousand indistinguishable pieces for it.]

It's my pleasure. But why are you dressed like that in the first place?

[moescot]

Ah, um, w- well...

[ The coat feels warm at least, though her legs are still shaking from the cold a little. Or make that a lot. ]

Suzumiya-san...

[expositsuki]

[As was expected. His smile turns one part sympathetic and another part apologetic.]

I see. Well, I don't think our brigade chief will mind if you take a moment to bring me up to speed. Shall we continue this conversation somewhere more convenient? I believe there's a tea shop nearby.

[moescot]

Ah... um, okay.

[ The girl twiddles her fingers nervously, not really sure what to do. She's never exactly been alone with the esper before, after all. ]

[expositsuki]

[If he's aware of her discomfort, he doesn't show it. He gestures with a hand in the direction of the tea shop as if to say "after you," but he'll walk alongside her once she finds her feet.]

Aside from the weather, have you found everything to be all right?

[ And Mikuru starts walking alongside the esper, giving an awkward smile as she nodded at his question. ]

Y-yes! Everyone's really nice to me, and... it's really nice here, despite the fact that it's not our home world.

['Arguments with Haruhi, blank-faced assholes, girls asking me to intervene with lolicons -- it's been a rough month. The kind of month where you just want to walk around in the cold and let your body heat and worries bleed away at the same time...

Not that I'm suggesting suicide. I just mean--Forget it. I don't need to explain myself, least of all to myself.

But a stirring motion in the corner of my eye catches my attention. Why do my spirits already feel as if they're being borne on the light wings of the Yataragasu? Why is it that I suddenly feel as if my heart is being jolted about as if it were being tossed unceremoniously over the shoulder of the Vampire Slayer?

Ah, it was the figure of a sad girl in snow... a beautiful girl falling face-first in snow--

And then, I suddenly understood! My legs can't carry me there fast enough!! Not even a horse with a jetpack could!']

[ Mikuru manages to lift her head up slightly, her eyes wide in surprise as she not only hears, but sees the familiar face and hears the familiar voice. The girl from the future then starts crying, calling out the name of the boy right in front of her. ]

K-... Kyon-kun!

Oh, I'm sorry... I guess I should stop.

[menial]

Asahina-san! No, don't get up! ['Because she was in so much danger of being able to do that from that little head tilt.] I-I'll get you...

[In actuality, he's totally winded by the time he gets there.

'But will press on nevertheless! Is it a mirage?! It's exactly the shape that a mirage in the cold, dark wintertime would take for me. I don't think I ate any bad food, but... Whatever! Let's put it to the test!'

So with that, he does manage to offer a perfunctory hand to help her up from that fall.]

It's okay! You'll be okay.

[ She lets out a small cry as she attempts to stand up once again, but soon falls on her butt. Okay, time for Plan B, which is to grab Kyon's hand and manage to stand up.

Though she's still on the verge of falling as she tries to steady herself. But when she does, she gives a deep sigh of relief. ]

Thank goodness... [ And then give a gentle smile at her savior. ] Thank you, Kyon-kun.

oh yeah? and why is that?

[menial]

['Oh ha ha! It's not a probldlmkfjsecidlksakldmfsdklfmasahina-san!!!

Maybe I'll never wash this hand again.']

A-A-Anytime, Asahina-san! I can't believe you're back...

[ Mikuru gives him her usual deer in the headlights look. And that actually shows that she has no idea what he's talking about at all whatsoever. ]

[ She tilts her head to the side, looking quite confused. ]
