Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test drive for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

[ Mikuru manages to lift her head up slightly, her eyes wide in surprise as she not only hears, but sees the familiar face and hears the familiar voice. The girl from the future then starts crying, calling out the name of the boy right in front of her. ]

K-... Kyon-kun!

Asahina-san! No, don't get up! ['Because she was in so much danger of being able to do that from that little head tilt.] I-I'll get you...

[In actuality, he's totally winded by the time he gets there.

'But will press on nevertheless! Is it a mirage?! It's exactly the shape that a mirage in the cold, dark wintertime would take for me. I don't think I ate any bad food, but... Whatever! Let's put it to the test!'

So with that, he does manage to offer a perfunctory hand to help her up from that fall.]

[ She lets out a small cry as she attempts to stand up once again, but soon falls on her butt. Okay, time for Plan B, which is to grab Kyon's hand and manage to stand up.

Though she's still on the verge of falling as she tries to steady herself. But when she does, she gives a deep sigh of relief. ]

Thank goodness... [ And then give a gentle smile at her savior. ] Thank you, Kyon-kun.

['Oh ha ha! It's not a probldlmkfjsecidlksakldmfsdklfmasahina-san!!!

Maybe I'll never wash this hand again.']

A-A-Anytime, Asahina-san! I can't believe you're back...

[ Mikuru gives him her usual deer in the headlights look. And that actually shows that she has no idea what he's talking about at all whatsoever. ]

[ She tilts her head to the side, looking quite confused. ]

Ah... Don't worry about it, Asahin-san! Everything's fine! This is just... a different world.

[yup.]

A different... world...?

[ Kyon, you may have to explain more than just that to her, especially since leaving her hanging like this, saying "This is just a different world" isn't going to cut it. ]

Right, uh, where do we start?

[He shivers.]

...How about we start by going inside?

Y- yes.

[ Mikuru nods, an awkward smile on her face. It's unbelievably cold and if they don't go inside as soon as possible, her face might actually freeze that way. ]

That would be nice.

['Even a frozen statue of Asahina-san is livelier than the expressions of a thousand other living girls.']

R-Right -- my place is just around the corner over there. And your room is still empty.

[ She blinks twice at the words of "your room is still empty", but she'll smile nonetheless, dusting her skirt off so that there's no longer snow on it. ]

['That's all I need to hear to turn this walk into ten minutes of uninterrupted bliss!

And the walk only takes five minutes.']

Okay. So. You were just dragged into this world called Luceti. Doesn't really matter why, but we've got some evil overlords called the Malnosso who are fighting a war against some even crazier bastards. They're kind of more weird than evil though. They do the kind of thing you might expect Haruhi to unintentionally do. They say it's research.

Haruhi and I are here too. I've been here for a year, and - you came here once before. But sometimes they do that. Drag you here and back and mess with your memories the whole time--['... Ooops. Insensitive?']... well, anyway. You were here a little after I first came here, but you left after a couple months. People do leave all the time, apparently.

[ This is already confusing, Kyon! At least your explanation make some sense. In a very unusual way, that is.

But at the words, "mess with your memories the whole time", Mikuru slightly panics, making her usual "Heeeeeeh?" noise before making a face.

[ She sounds a little melancholic herself, but she soon gives him a bright smile in return, shaking it off. ]

Indoors, then. He stamps his feet before starting to ascend the stairs.]

So yeah, you were here for a couple months and you took the room next to mine here. All of your things are gone -- when you leave, that happens -- but the room's still open.

[ She then gives Kyon a bright smile, laughing lightly. Though she's sort of worried about the fact that she's in the room right next to Kyon's. What would Suzumiya-san think...? ]

['It's more than good! It's grrrrr-reat! Knowing Asahina-san is next door is a vital part of a healthy breakfast!']

It's great. Yes. I mean, it's obviously not as great as not being here at all, but it's very good for us.

Mm. At least it's not that bad...

[ Mikuru nods, redoubling her smile before she gives him a small bow. ]
