Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test drive for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

o1. The grocery store is out of food. What do you do?
o2. Wing injury! Call for help or stagger your way to one of our fine clinics.
o3. It's a busy evening at Good Spirits, one of Luceti's local bars. Do you dare try the drink specials?
o4. Have a talent for playing music? Try Cloud Nine's open mic night!
o5. Beach party? Snow party? Leaf-raking party? Gardening party? YOU DECIDE.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

If I'm right... this could float the boat to our senseis, Sakura-san!

[He smiles from her and then takes the lightest sip. He immediately sets the bottle down... and his cheeks glow red.]

Lee, are you okay? ((Squinting at him just a little; might just be a lot of worried.))

[He squints and starts to stagger around. He doesn't hear Sakura. Instead he talks to the bottle in a whining voice.

Gai Senseiii. Why aren't you in this bottle? Where are you, Gai Senseiiii? [He focuses on the closest wall.] Is that you, Gai Sensei?! [He immediately rushes forward and punches through the wall.]

..!!!

Woah!!! Uhm.. ((GOING TO JUST. HURRY OVER TO. She would definitely try to pull you out of this state, but right now, she doesn't want to get punched.

Wow. Sakura. Of all people. Not wanting to be punched. There's irony in this.))

Lee! Lee, that isn't Gai-sensei. Calm down a sec and just--...

[He blinks, as he tries to process Sakura's words. He groggily turns to face her, still in a fighting position.]

S- [A hiccup.] .... Ssaaaakuuuraaaa-san?

....Hiiiiiii!!!!!!!

(("This guy is.... totally drunk right now..!!!!"))

[He smiles brightly and drops his fighting stance, his arms swinging at his side as he staggers around.]

Hii... hi Sakura-san! I... I love spending time with you soooo much!

Yee--aahh... Hey, c'mon why don't we sit you down somewhere so you don't get someone killed, all right? ((ah-hah.... Ah..... hah.....))

[He looks around alertly.]

Why? Is there an enemy, Sakura-San? Leave him to meeee!

[He gives a few blind punches into the air.]

((LEANS AWAY A LITTLE. Oh man she knows better than to get hit by those punches.))

No no! No enemy here! Just me, we're good! Just... ((going to just... try to grab your shoulder. and lead you along. God don't hit her man.))

[He would have made it sure they missed her! But he relaxes once she grabs his shoulder.]

We are safe? Ahhh. That is great, great news. Where are we going... Sakura-san?

Juu-ust to sit...

((leads along.... Okay here looks like a good spot.)) Okay, just sit down and stay still. ((Er okay what do we do with a drunken ~~sailor~~ ninja?))

Ohhh yes, Sakura-san. Thank you. You are so helpful. So, so, soooooooooo-

[He immediately collapses onto the bench. Is he... even still awake?

--!!! Lee!!

Lee uh... ((bends over to look at him; oh god don't tell me he's dead!?!??!))

[Lee rolls over on the bench. His eyes are closed, but there are visible signs that he is breathing. He could be asleep... or is he?]

((Unsure stare.... But eventually she straightens up, sighs, looks around, and mumbles to herself.))

Geez, wish I had a way to snap him out of this... ((She leans backward a moment, unsure if MAYBE she saw one of their sensei, but by the looks of things.... no... alas.

So she finds herself a seat near Lee and sits until he's awake again. Maybe.... Neji... or Tenten.... will walk up and know what to do. Yeah that's something that could happen.

Eyes Lee a second.)) I shouldn't be surprised though, huh?

[No response yet; Lee just stirs slightly.]

((A pause... She sort of laughs.)) I guess sleeping it off is probably a good idea.

[Within the next few minutes, however, he starts to open his eyes, greeted by a pounded headache.]

Ugh. [Pause] S-Sakura...san?

.. Oh! Hey sleepy head. Feeling better?

[He sits up and smiles at her.]

What happened, Sakura-san? [He grabs his head and realizes how familiar this feeling is.] Oh! Was I... drunk again?

Well, I dunno about "again", but you definitely were drunk. ((going to have to laugh at him a little.)) Didn't even look like you drank that much!

Ah, Sakura-san, even a drop of alcohol can be poison for a youth such as myself. But... please forgive me, Sakura-san, for acting so disgracefully in your presence!

Ha ha ha, no, it's fine! It's not like you did anything exceptionally weird, even for you.
