Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test drive for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

Peter Parker | The Spectacular Spider-Man

[The village isn't some place as noisy as the Big Apple, so it's a nice change of pace. Peace and quiet, not much in the department of super villains every single week. And to top it all off, no chance of him being late for school every single day -- even with the use of the whole webslinging thing.

Too bad the buildings aren't as high as the skyscrapers in New York, 'cause good ol' Pete is trying to get a feel for getting around the village quickly. And boy is it hard to do that with such low-rise buildings just sitting around. Jumping form building to building? Yeah, that works. But it's exhausting. That calls for an old fashioned American break.

Everyone might get a good peek of Spider-Man just hanging out in a hammock made of webs, just raised high enough to be out of reach to most. But totally visible in the middle of the village, just up above everyone. At least to an extent.

... Man, it's too quiet. Where's a cab driver honking like a madman when you wanna pass out for a bit?]

[So Billy was just. Casually passing by. Nothing unusual, it's a normal day, nice and sunny, everything's awesome, Spider-Man is in a hammock by that tree, the breeze is- holy hell Spider-Man is in a hammock by that tree, what.]

S... Spider-Man!?

[quippage]

[It's always a good sign to hear someone recognize the good ol' red and blue, but at the same time, that could be really bad. But this is no voice he recognizes, so there's probably no immediate threat. Nothing on the Spidey Sense, anyway.]

In the flesh! And in the hammock made of webbing wearing a costume that covers all of the flesh. But you get the idea. [Have a wave.]

[Whoa. This- this is kind of intense. Billy tentatively waves back, unable to stop staring. He's not seeing any recognition, though, so it's probably safe to assume that this Spiderman isn't from his time.]

Um... hi. Are you new here, or have you been around for a while?

[quippage]

[He can't just come out and say that he's been here for awhile, because he's only been around as Peter. Can't have the personas all mixed up over something as simple as... well, a different world.

Okay, not so simple.] Brand spanking new. Nice place you guys got here.

[Pfft, nice indeed. Billy scratches the back of his head, glancing around.]

Yeah, give it some time. It might just make you rethink that.

[quippage]

I get that a lot. [Spidey jumps on down from his hammock to stand next to Billy. It's more polite, right?] Already starting to rethink it. It's way too quiet for a New York hero like me.

[...Huh. He's shorter than Billy remembers.]

Way too quiet for a New York citizen, too, so you're not alone there. Still, it's nice to have some local heroes around.

[quippage]

[He's a growing boy, okay.]

Yeah, kind of weird to miss all those cars honking. [He crosses his arms and contemplates something.] I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that this place needs heroes around, right?

[howsmashing]

[SO! Spider-Man you got one big green always-looking-pissed-off giant just strolling over. He has a drumstick in his hand that he's eating though. One thing about Hulk is he loves his food.]

Hmph. What you think you're doing, Webhead? [He recognizes you. Vaguely. From news and stuff.]

[quippage]

[That's a voice and kind of look that Spider-Man's sure he wouldn't forget if he knew it, and that's enough of a startling alarm to make him jump from his hammock and stick onto a wall. Just in case.]

I was trying to get some shut-eye, but I'm no so sure about that anymore. [...] Sorry, but do we know each other? You're not gonna start with the whole "gonna crush you, Spider-Man" thing, right?

[Please don't be some random crook turned super villain. He's had enough of those for one lifetime.]

[howsmashing]

Read about you in the papers.

[And probably on television too. He's just going going to give the webslinger a very unimpressed look. Aren't you supposed to be able to lift cars and crap?]

...ya look even punier in person.

[quippage]

Hey! Those pictures are some of the best pictures you can get of me!

[Wait, that's probably not something he should be saying out loud like that. It's not like he's supposed to want to have pictures taken of him.]

... And it adds ten pounds -- something like that. [He figured he was decently muscular for his build. Don't rain on his parade. ;;]

[Dude. How old are you like fifteen? You're a scrawny teenager with spider powers. How does anyone ever see you as a threat!]

So. You're the New York Menace huh? [He has no idea how.]

[quippage]

[Excuse you, he's like sixteen. There's a huge difference. Guy grows a lot in one year.]

Okay, menace? Strong word. I'd go with something more like... hero, savior, spectacular. Better choice of words.

[howsmashing]

...anyone ever told you you talk too much?

[Cause you do.]

So what. Tellin' me you a good guy or somethin'? [Because he could... maybe buy that. Considering how much he's hated. =|a]

[quippage]

Oh, yeah. I get that all the time. Kind of insulting, actually.

[Definitely going to keep up the non-stop talking while talking to the giant green man. Who looks stronger and possibly more angry than Rhino.]

That's the gist of it. I'm your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, just doing what I do best. Saving lives, kicking baddie butt, and making art out of webs.

[snikting]

[You can't go unnoticed by Wolverine, who ends up staring at the webslinger in his little hammock. He's also standing on the roof half of that web is connected to. Now, as he hears it, Spider-Man is a menace to society. A real monster. But then, so are the X-Men. Time to put that to the test. He kneels down by the strand connecting the hammock to the building and unsheathes his claws. Close to the web.]

Nap time's over, bub.

[My spidey sense is tingling! That's no good, and Spider-Man knows it. He jumps up a bit, standing on the hammock with the balance of a circus act.]

And who are you supposed to be? The nap time police?

[snikting]

[Kurt's better at that than you, buddy. 8|]

You just happened to be someone I recognize. Spider-Man, right?

[quippage]

[Prrrobably is. But hey, at least Spidey's got some grace rather than none. Doesn't look all ridiculous, standing in a web hammock.

And he's eying those claws pretty closely.] Yeah, that's right. You're not gonna try to start a brawl with me, are you? Because fixing the suit from shredding doesn't sound like a field day around here.

[snikting]

I thought I'd see if the Daily Bugle had the right idea about you.

[Claws are still there, yeah. Look how the sun reflects off them.]

[quippage]

You and everyone else. [He can relax, just a little. If this guy was open enough to see about that, then maybe Spidey doesn't have to worry about cleaning up some claw wounds later.]

The Bugle's got the right pictures, but the pickle puss in charge pretty much prints the opposite of what happens. What can I say? It's like a tabloid sometimes.

... He probably doesn't like me calling him pickle puss either, now that I think about it.

[snikting]

[Logan does not look overtly convinced. Though he is weighing the information. Mutants tend to get the same wrap, after all.]

So you're blaming it all on bad publicity? Convenient.

[quippage]

[That's... a pretty good point. It's tough to explain to someone when the whole New York area was on another world entirely.]

Don't you think if I were as bad as the papers say, New York would be completely chaotic? [...] Okay, more chaotic.

[Can't be helped that there's so many supervillains running amok in the city, trying to do a billion different things. Spidey can only be in so many places at once.]
