[Going with Option B, there is a Geth with a gaping hole wandering around the village. Legion was a bit cautious whenever it encounter any organics though, keeping to the edge of the community. Any of them could decide to point and shoot a gun at the Geth, but they've been rather...docile around it. Not that Legion has a problem with that.

Legion will be circling near the Battle Dome area when Shepard comes through, which makes Legion stop to look at the approaching figure. The top flaps on its head raises, expressing surprise, recognition.]

Shepard's gaze immediately turns towards what she'd swore was the sound of a geth speaking clear-cut, if quite robotic-sounding English. Her legs grind to a halt, and once she finds the source, she finds herself staring at one such synthetic, with what seems to be a piece of her armor strapped onto its shoulder, and that gaping hole in its chest. ...Okay. How did that happen? How has it not deactivated outright after taking a hit like that? More importantly, how the hell does it know who she is?

[The flaps around Legion's head raises and then moves forward like in concentration. The Geth seem confused by Shepard's response.]

[Legion headaches involves many numbers and a Geth equivalent of a blue screen of death. Seriously, this doesn't process properly with it. The little lights go red, unable to process how she would not remember and brings up the data from that time when they first met.]

You found us on a ship belonging to the Old Machines. We gave you assistance on your mission to retrieve the IFF and you brought us onto your ship. We were temporarily stationed there under your command to help fight the Collectors.

By a longshot. I'm tempted to canon update her to post ME2 already, but where's the fun in that? XD

[Enjoying your fresh air, Shepard? Someone else is as well. Walking out of the item shop is a familiar-looking salarian, carrying two large bags filled with medical supplies. He's looking rather pleasant, despite the new surroundings, and happily hums a tune to himself as he walks about.]

[There's a face she wasn't expecting to see around. Shepard perks up and peeks over from her seat when he passes, a little grin showing -- she'd recognize that tune anywhere.]

Nor will trying to punch through it work out. Not with the Cain, anyway, much less an assault rifle. [Why did she bring that nuke launcher again? She should've brought something like the grenade launcher to the fray instead. She's not risking blowing herself up, or an entire tract of land just to see if it's possible to break through. >_>]

Those 'shifts' I've heard about might be worth looking into as well.
