[It must be a record, Storm thinks to herself, coming back to this place a third time. She wakes up slightly disoriented, but the wings, the journal and the vaguely familiar forested surroundings brought some memories back. She spent a few moments collecting herself before she picked up the journal, intending to re-learn its workings, and murmured to herself as she did so:]

How long was I gone this time, I wonder? It certainly feels like summer, but my last memories of this place had been of snow... 

I wonder who is still around?

I just hate feeling so helpless. [Yes things were going to shit in their world, but at least she'd been doing something to prevent it. Here, there was very little they could do.]

In some ways, I suppose. Though from what I remember, life here tends to vary between two extremes... Very quiet, or very difficult. [Back home, the mansion was always a hive of activity. Whether they were dealing with the Villain of the Week, or just teenage mutant drama.]
