[It must be a record, Storm thinks to herself, coming back to this place a third time. She wakes up slightly disoriented, but the wings, the journal and the vaguely familiar forested surroundings brought some memories back. She spent a few moments collecting herself before she picked up the journal, intending to re-learn its workings, and murmured to herself as she did so:]

How long was I gone this time, I wonder? It certainly feels like summer, but my last memories of this place had been of snow... 

I wonder who is still around?

[Well. That sure ain't a voice he was expecting to hear today. Rogue had mentioned she'd been around here. Looks like she was back. Again.

And she's her right self. Not a puppet of Apocalypse. Well, that's something.]

[Given that it hasn't been more than an hour since she talked to him last, she's replying without giving much thought to the fact that he's here.]

So it seems. I suppose I'm just lucky, and...

Yeah. Didn't exactly plan on it myself, either. Going on four months now.

Four months, really? How disconcerting. I was just speaking to you and the Professor, not an hour ago.

[He'd been jetting off to go fight her and the Professor when he arrived. What a coincidence.]

This place has a funny way of making time weird. My conversation with Rogue wasn't so different. Only instead of four months, she was going on a year and a half.

It's August, actually; late summer going into fall. So it sounds like it's been several months at least.

I don't know if I can help you with the other question, though. I've only been here since July. If there's anyone you're specifically looking for, I can tell you if I've met them?

That's very kind of you. [Smiles into the journal cam.] Some students of mine were here, from what I remember. A fuzzy blue, ah, elf named Kurt? Or a young woman with a lock of white running through otherwise auburn hair, Rogue?

There are definite downsides to either.

[Mostly involving the possibility of other people not being in Luceti any longer. The mention of an elf doesn't trigger any recognition, but the other description does.]

I don't know anyone named Kurt, but Rogue is still here. If you're her teacher, then you probably know Logan too, and Gambit.

[She takes a moment to smile for Kurt, because he is better off at home. But Rogue, still around? And Logan was now here, too?]

... Yes, I do recognize those names. [She smiles, because it's good to have people she counts as friends around, but there's a touch of sadness to it. They shouldn't be here...]

[A sigh, then a warmer smile.] Thank you.

[He so surprised to hear her he even neglects that terrible nickname he gave her for now.]

Ah - yes. So it seems. [Pause, while she thinks. She knows you! She just can't remember right now!]

And the picture might be too small for Ororo to notice, but there have been some definite make-up changes for this girl in recent times. Also, she looks quite a bit older.]

[The slight alteration to her taste in make-up was definitely noticed, it's the kind of thing a woman like Ororo would see. She's surprised, but it's a question for later.]

The forest, presently. I should have no trouble finding town, an aerial view would make things easier, I believe.
