[It must be a record, Storm thinks to herself, coming back to this place a third time. She wakes up slightly disoriented, but the wings, the journal and the vaguely familiar forested surroundings brought some memories back. She spent a few moments collecting herself before she picked up the journal, intending to re-learn its workings, and murmured to herself as she did so:]

How long was I gone this time, I wonder? It certainly feels like summer, but my last memories of this place had been of snow... 

I wonder who is still around?

Hard not to with how slow time passes around here. [Feels like ages, really.] You're down a few X-Men, though. If you haven't heard yet.

[...Sure it is. Maybe. Debatable. He's not convinced in Rogue's case, but he also knows it's selfish to think otherwise.]

I suppose so. Otherwise, we've been busy while you've been gone. Plenty of people from parallel dimensions showing up, you know. Keeps us on our toes.

More parallel dimensions? What number had we been up to, if you'll refresh my memory? Five, was it? [She doesn't sound too bothered about it, surprisingly. Thinking about things gives her headaches, and that's bad for the environment. It really is!]

Regardless, it keeps things interesting, I'm sure.

[Sometimes, he wishes he had that excuse.]

That's one way to put it. I believe it's seven now, by the way--at least two new universes. Just peachy, huh?

[Laughs a little, because they're having a casual conversation about parallel dimensions.]

With so many universes, it's a wonder that we have people from our own worlds coming to Luceti at all.
