Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test drive for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

o1. The grocery store is out of food. What do you do?
o2. Wing injury! Call for help or stagger your way to one of our fine clinics.
o3. It's a busy evening at Good Spirits, one of Luceti's local bars. Do you dare try the drink specials?
o4. Have a talent for playing music? Try Cloud Nine's open mic night!
o5. Beach party? Snow party? Leaf-raking party? Gardening party? YOU DECIDE.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

Above all? HAVE FUN. Oh. And don't forget to RESERVE your characters.

[Luceti is a decidedly curious place, and just like with any mystery in front of him, what does Tintin do? Well, he sets out to solve it. Which of course means investigating each and every character he comes upon around town. Who is this person? How long have they been there? What do they know about the Malnosso? Are they dangerous? These are the things he's got to know.

When that doesn't get him too far, he'll set out to the library. Because there's no greater source of knowledge than the library! His study here doesn't do him much good, however--though that isn't to say he's not swept up into reading for awhile. Just look at all these odd books!

And later on in the evening, he'll be reading his journal while sitting on a bench in the plaza. Another decent method of gathering information...hm. But it's still very elusive, this mystery.

If you don't notice the redhead teen who looks like he's got some very serious business to attend to, then you might notice his dog, who always seems to be coming up with clever ideas of his own. Snowy goes wherever Tintin does--even if it's different dimensions.]

[During the evening, Kiki comes to land in the plaza having spent the day flying around and exploring the very heights of the community buildings. She sighs to herself before brushing her hair from her eyes and looking around.

As she does this her cat Jiji hops down from her shoulder to take a look too. Is that... A dog over there? Gulp, nice doggy. The cat almost seems to freeze up at seeing Snowy though Kiki hasn't noticed this yet.]

[He certainly would have had something to exclaim about landing on a broom if his nose wasn't buried in his journal--in fact, he probably wouldn't have noticed her at all if Snowy wasn't suddenly on his feet, trotting over to Jiji with an attitude that certainly says see here, I'm the boss around here.]

Snowy! You're not about to--[And then he notices Kiki.] Sorry, is this your cat? [And...] Why do you have a broom?

[Okay, you're the boss. Please stay over there- Don't stay over there then. He wants to edge away and find refuge on Kiki's shoulder, but what if all dogs aren't like Jeff back home? Oh dear.]

Ah yes, this is my friend Jiji. [She goes to answer the next question but soon stops herself.] You shouldn't ask a girl so many questions when you haven't even been introduced yet.

[Snowy seems to find this satisfactory, so he sits at Tintin's feet and manages as smug a look as a dog can muster.]

...Right, sorry. [Even if she didn't answer about the broom, what is up with the broom.] I'm Tintin. What's your name, Miss?

[As long as Snowy stays put then Jiji will slink away behind Kiki's legs. It's much safer back here.]

My name's Kiki. [And to answer that earlier question-] I'm a witch.

[Being a newcomer to Luceti himself, Clive still doesn't know his way around town very well; try as he might, he just can't seem to find the library. As much as he hates asking for directions, it seems he doesn't really have a choice now. The first person he spots after coming to this realization is a red-haired boy and his dog. Well, might as well go with this guy.

So he approaches, being mindful of the dog in case it's a jumper (or worse, a biter), and speaks in what Tintin may be able to recognize as an English accent.]

Excuse me, do you happen to know where the library is?

[Fortunately, Snowy is not a jumper or a biter, but he is a sniffer, so he'll trot right over to Clive curiously. Tintin will raise an eyebrow at the accent for his part. He hasn't met many Englanders around here.]

The library? It's just in the town plaza--I'm headed there myself, if you'd like to join me.

[Well, he supposes he doesn't mind the sniffing too much. Clive pats Snowy's head as he listens to Tintin's response, giving him a smile.]

Ah, what a coincidence! I suppose it would be best to tag along with you, then.

[He moves to walk alongside the teen.]

My name is Clive, by the way. And you are?
