Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test drive for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

o1. The grocery store is out of food. What do you do?
o2. Wing injury! Call for help or stagger your way to one of our fine clinics.
o3. It's a busy evening at Good Spirits, one of Luceti's local bars. Do you dare try the drink specials?
o4. Have a talent for playing music? Try Cloud Nine's open mic night!
o5. Beach party? Snow party? Leaf-raking party? Gardening party? YOU DECIDE.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

[In the forest just a little way behind house 48 there's a boy about the age of 14 with gravity-defying hair. He's staring out into the woods at the remnants of an old tree house that's very familiar to him. He frowns in thought, half-tempted to go visit the foundation before turning on his heel and walking toward the main part of the village.

He's got one destination in mind. The Brigade Room's got to still be here, right? And he was deputy vice chief once upon a time. He had every right to just barge on in.

However...the village...got bigger.]

Whoa...when did all of this happen?

[Oops. There's a girl sitting at the front desk of the SOS Brigade. Azusa doesn't recognize Taichi, but she sets her book down and smiles at him before the door is even fully closed.]

My, my...welcome to the SOS Brigade~. How can I help you today? Are you looking for Haruhi-chan?

[Abuh. Who the hell is this? He stops short in the doorway, blinking in surprise.] Uh...yeah, I guess. She's still here then?

I'm so sorry, but she isn't here anymore. [There's a pause there. She doesn't really realize what she just said, but she stands up.] She stepped out for a little while. Is there anything I can help you with?

[At first, the look on his face is one of pure devastation. If Haruhi was gone, did that mean others were gone, too? Was Raine gone?

...but he immediately chills out when she corrects herself.] ...actually, yeah. Can I borrow your roster?

My, my...our roster? I'm sure I have that around here somewhere, let's see...why do you ask?

[She's going to get it out regardless. She starts looking around her desk. She knows there's a copy of it nearby...give her a second...]

[A shrug.] Call me curious. I just wanna see who's still around since the last time I was here.

My, my, so you've been here before...? Welcome back, then~.

[Ah! Here it is. She hands the paper to Taichi.]

As the Deputy Vice Chief, if there's any other way I can help you, please just ask.

[Takeru has been looking around the village for several minutes now, trying to find someone he knows. So when he spots Taichi ~~because that hair is hard to miss~~, he gives a short wave and a smile.]

Ah, Taichi-san-!

[Cue Taichi reacting with a double-take.]

TK? [Yes, he's resorted to the childhood nickname because seriously what the hell. The last time he saw Takeru in Luceti, he'd been eight and Taichi had only been twelve himself.] Hey! [He'll just jog on over.] When did you get here?

[A sheepish smile goes here.]

Just... a little while ago. How about you? And, um-

[The chosen of hope turns around. While this might be funny considering he has Angemon as his Digimon partner, it still doesn't sit well for the young man.]

Do you know why I have these on my back? [Don't tell him you got Agumon's tail or something!!]

They're kind of a big deal around here. [And he flaps his own blue wings in response. At least they don't hurt this time around, though they're odd all the same.] Everybody's got 'em.

[He watches Taichi flap his own wings with this face. He glances back at his own light yellow wings, almost a faded shade of his hair, before glancing back at his friend.]

Here is... where exactly?

[Okay, the craziness that is discovering that she now has wings will have to wait later. Right now, it's sibling time!]

Oniichan!

[PANIC. DESPAIR. WORRY! BABY SISTER SHOULD NOT BE HERE.

...not really. Much like with Takeru, the last time Hikari had been in the village she'd been eight years old. He immediately strides over to her, quickening his pace.]

Hikari! Are you okay?

Yes, I am. I don't feel hurt or anything. [Which is the truth.]

--But um, I'd really like to know why I suddenly have wings? [Does this have to do with Angewomon as her partner or something???]

Good. [He tilts his head though, examining the wings.] Hmm...the Malnosso stick them on us as soon as we enter the barrier. Everyone in the village has them.

So... [Blinks.] You have one, too?
