Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test drive for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

o1. The grocery store is out of food. What do you do?
o2. Wing injury! Call for help or stagger your way to one of our fine clinics.
o3. It's a busy evening at Good Spirits, one of Luceti's local bars. Do you dare try the drink specials?
o4. Have a talent for playing music? Try Cloud Nine's open mic night!
o5. Beach party? Snow party? Leaf-raking party? Gardening party? YOU DECIDE.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

Above all? HAVE FUN. Oh. And don't forget to RESERVE your characters.

[So because +1 sensei dragged him into Good Spirits (even if he repeatedly told him that it's a definite no) Minato can be seen looking around. Of course, he has been in local bars before in Konoha but once he became a husband and a father, he resolved that he won't frequent them anymore.

But since he's already here, he'd like to, at least, look presentable. Only he's failing at greeting.]

[erosennin]

[Well, it's not like Kushina's around to thump Jiraiya on the head and drag her husband home, so he's gonna take advantage of that!]

Hey, stop making that face and drink up! We're not here to bring down the mood!

[derpflash]

[Someone bring in Kushinaaaa. In the meantime, though, Minato laughs sheepishly as he brings a hand to rub the back of his neck.]

Sensei, you know I don't drink anymore. I'll just get some snacks. Someone has to bring you home when you're already too drunk to walk properly.

[erosennin]

[Hey, you've been dead for sixteen years. And now you're not. This deserves celebration and celebration means booze, women, or both. So at least let him have the booze.]

I can walk just fine! Come on, just a little - it'll put hair on your chest!

[He drops his voice to a confiding whisper.]

Not to mention make those snacks taste better. Let me tell you...!

[He blinks and probably blushes even a bit.]

Hair... on my chest? [Last he heard, alcohol doesn't do such a thing. And is this way your way of implying that he's not manry enough, sensei???]

[derpflash]

I told you I'm fine. [Although, it dawns on Minato that his sensei will probably do this to him all night, so he just sighs.]

But, okay... Just one drink, alright?

[erosennin]

[Oh, now that's a challenge!]

Just one, eh? Well, then I'll just have to make it a good one!

[That grin? Be afraid. Be very afraid.]

[derpflash]

[Yeah, he knows his sensei. He's going to regret this. He's sure of it.]

Give it your best shot.

[But Minato has never been one to back out on a challenge especially when he himself already agreed to it.]

[erosennin]

[And that may very well be his undoing.

The drink set before Minato is going to be a delicious one, rich and sweet and tasty -- and all that flavor to disguise the massive levels of alcohol lurking in it.]

There you go! One drink, just like you said.

[So evil, sensei. So eviiiil. But as you said, this might very well be his undoing. All consequences, he will accept it. But since he still trusts Jiraiya, he doesn't think he'd give him such a massive amount of alcohol in one drink.]

After this, we're going home, okay? I think you've drunk too much.

[Aaaand bottoms up! Yum, it really is sweet and--]

[derpflash]

[--Whoa whoa whoa. What's this incredible surge of--? This might be the moment wherein Jiraiya would be able to see Minato's cheeks begin to burn bright red, a rare sight for the usually collected shinobi.]

Sensei, what's-- [Oh gosh, why does it feel like the world is starting to spin??]

[erosennin]

[Oh, Minato's feeling funny? This is Jiraiya's innocent face, but it's not working; his eyes are twinkling too much. Don't worry, Minato; Sensei's here to make sure that nothing bad happens to you... at least until the hangover hits.]

Like it? I made it specially for you! All the things I thought you'd like...

[Slyly]

Although I couldn't quite get the tomato in there.

[And that would be Kushina's cue to punch him (again) if only she were here...]

[Tomato? Then it hits him as hard as Kushina's fists- his wife! What would his wife think if she--

Oh, right. She's not in this place. The sadness this fact brought forth was fleeting, though, because the drink didn't allow Minato to feel anything but giddiness and a lightheaded sensation.]

[derpflash]

[So much so that he uncharacteristically grins wide.]

It would've been better if you got the tomato in here!

[What are these pretty lights? Hiccup!]

[erosennin]

[There's that wide grin Jiraiya was going for! He laughs and claps Minato on the back, then takes another swig of his own drink.]

That's the spirit!

[Because why be sad when there can be smiles?]

[derpflash]

[You're so dead in the morning, sensei. SO SO DEAD!

But for now, the effects of the alcohol overrides everything as Minato keeps on grinning.]

So, how about adding some this time? [Translation: Give me another round!]

[erosennin]

[He'd ask what happened to 'just one drink, sensei, then we should leave,' but he's too busy laughing and being a terrible influence. How did Minato ever manage as a child?]

All right! Together we'll concoct the greatest drink the town has ever seen!

[And he's working his magic again, bringing forth another drink tha's now dark red with added tomato juice.]

[Well, the color seems to indicate that it has been added with tomato juice so he chuckles some more. Sorry, sensei, his earlier words are now lost in him.]

[And without further ado, Minato drinks the concoction in one swig. Oh boy.]

So down it goes!

[Jiraiya's laughing hard. Being a bad influence is so much fun! So much better, too, with an adult.]

[derpflash]

[Oh boy, oh boy. With this one adding to the effects of the first one, Minato's world is spinning!]

Sensei, this is awesome-!

[For the time-being, maybe. Because Kami knows just how much his head will hurt come the next day. But all this is beyond Minato's thinking as he laughs.]

Ah, now you see it. And to think you were doubting your dear wise sensei, Mina-kun!

Drink up, party up! We're alive, we celebrate it!

[derpflash]

[A HUGE GRIN]

Yeah, got that right! We should even dance to this wonderful music!

[erosennin]

Ah, Minato, take pity on your sensei, I'm an old man now! Dancing's a little beyond me!

[Griiiin.]

But you go ahead! I'll watch and enjoy!

[derpflash]

Oh, come on! [Pat pat pat on his sensei's back.] Join me! I'm sure we'll have a wonderful time!

[And is that Minato starting to grind his hips to the music? Oh god.]
