Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test drive for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

o1. The grocery store is out of food. What do you do?
o2. Wing injury! Call for help or stagger your way to one of our fine clinics.
o3. It's a busy evening at Good Spirits, one of Luceti's local bars. Do you dare try the drink specials?
o4. Have a talent for playing music? Try Cloud Nine's open mic night!
o5. Beach party? Snow party? Leaf-raking party? Gardening party? YOU DECIDE.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

Above all? HAVE FUN. Oh. And don't forget to RESERVE your characters.

[He accepts the beer from Jilly with a grin and a shrug.]

[Because somewhere on Geordie's side of the table is a carving Jack was working on with his dagger, right in the wood. JS ♥ BS Forever and Ever and Ever and Ever and.

[one hand resting on Geordie's shoulder, friendly and familiar, she leans over to see what Jack is talking about... and she laughs when she sees it]

Jack. How long have you been working on that?

[Geordie follows Jilly's gaze, frowning a little when he reads the carving. He's not sure who BS is, but given that Jilly just called the man Jack, that at least answers the JS.

Forever and ever and ever and ever and. It's sweet and romantic and quickly makes him smile instead.]

Probably forever and ever.

[There's nothing mean in his voice. It's all good-natured jest.]

Hrmph. [Jack glares at the good-natured Geordie.] Not THAT long. Just. Nights when she's away, is all.

[she did catch that glare, and it gets a raised eyebrow. But she only shakes her head with a smile] I think it's sweet, however long it's been.

[placing a hand on Geordie's shoulder, she looked between them] I guess you two haven't met, yet? Geordie, this is Jack. He's a pirate. [there was something mischievous in the tone, as well as proud. She could imagine how Geordie might react to that kind of introduction. It shifts as she continues, though, becoming almost disbelieving. Happy, but still not fully trusting that it's real]

Geordie's from...from home.

[It doesn't go unnoticed by Geordie, either. But like Jilly, he just shakes it off. No jokes. Okay, he can live with that.

Eyebrows do raise at the word pirate. He takes in Jack's demeanor and dress and nods. A pirate. Well, Jilly does make friends with just about anyone, doesn't she?

He offers a hand in greeting, trying not to look all that nervous.] I'm guessing that she's not talking about radio piracy, either. Uh, nice to meet you.

[Wait wait wait wait wait -- was this the PIMP BOYFRIEND?! When Jack takes the offered hand, he grips it rather violently.]

So was it HIM, lass? Is this the one?
