Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test drive for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

o1. The grocery store is out of food. What do you do?
o2. Wing injury! Call for help or stagger your way to one of our fine clinics.
o3. It's a busy evening at Good Spirits, one of Luceti's local bars. Do you dare try the drink specials?
o4. Have a talent for playing music? Try Cloud Nine's open mic night!
o5. Beach party? Snow party? Leaf-raking party? Gardening party? YOU DECIDE.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

Above all? HAVE FUN. Oh. And don't forget to RESERVE your characters.

I'd go along with your eyes--or somethin'. [He's not exactly on the ball about complimenting clothing choices like those stereotypical gay friends people seem to have--being bisexual made him close enough though, right?]

Either that or some kinda monotone. Then you can wear it with anything and not have t' worry about color matchin'. [A pause.] I still vote purple though.

[Blue can't help but smile slightly. It'd go alone with her bright blue eyes, huh? Well, purple and blue didn't clash so he was actually right. It'd be a change of pace. Not something that she'd always wear, she liked her current clothes and Silver helped her pick them out.

The monotone on the other hand....]

I used to wear a plain black dress, purple sounds like a nice change though. Let's see if we can find something. [She pauses.] Maybe something for you too.

Well, like--I dunno. You could do that black dress with purple shoes and people would be impressed because you got some color t' it. [He has no idea what he's talking about. Color in clothing is so rare where he comes from asides the sashes around their waists but that was cultural and the colors stood out for things.

This was fashion. This was ritz, this was money and hell--he rarely had money.] Somethin' for me?

Pfft--I don't need anything, this is your shoppin' trip, lady Blue.

[Blue drops the smile, a black dress with blue shoes? That didn't exactly seem her style, besides now that she was older she liked the shirt-skirt combo.]

I don't know, doesn't seem like my thing. Besides, brighter colors appeal more to me nowadays. [Brightening her smile, Blue slipped her arm around his. Careful not to knock any bags loose or knock him over.]

Exactly, this is may shopping trip~ I can go shopping for whoever I wish. [Did she mention how much she liked the ring of 'Lady Blue'.]

No, no--like. Say you gotta go t' some ritzy party or somethin' and people are tellin' you that it's a black dress event and then you gotta wear that black dress. You can spice it up with them shoes or somethin', somethin' bright like you like. [He stammers slightly, his accent dropping heavy because he has no idea about these things but sometimes likes to pretend he knows a little more than nothing.

Blinking when he felt the other slip her arm around his own he offered a small smile before looking forward and kept walking.]

Oh--clever, clever, you and your sassy mouth. [He teased with a small tsk of breath, of course always a fan of nicknames for people.]

So what would you pick out for me then? If I let you, say.

[Blue couldn't help but laugh at his example. It wasn't half-bad, maybe she would do that someday.] Maybe I will someday, than.

[Sassy mouth, huh? Well, that was actually quite true.]

Some jeans definitely, you seem like the type. You're hot enough to pull off a loose shirt too, or maybe we'll have to see.

[Normally he didn't like people laughing at him but he's trying--trying to not go off the handle at people that he generally likes and aside, if she was going to flatter him then he could forget it.

A small laugh catches his lips, like a puff of breath.] Haa--

Shit, lady Blue. Glad you think so, even though I'm not sure what it has t' do with loose shirts.

[Blue gave a small smirk.]

Well, it's like how boys want girls to wear loose shirts. You want to see a guy's chest if they're hot.

[Easiest way to put it, but by now they'd reached where most of the men clothes were located.]

[The smirk was replied before he gave a shake of his head and a puff of laughter met his lips.] Cute.

You wanna see my chest, alright--alright I get it. [Looking to the clothes he arched an eyebrow.] You can't help it.

Well, it wouldn't be a bad sight~

[Blue let go of his arm, giving the clothes a look before turning to him again.]

You do have an idea on what size you are?

[Holding onto the bags still, he shifts them and looks down at his chest, then back up--a small laugh on his lips.] Um--

I dunno. Is tall and lanky a size?

[Blue raised an eyebrow.]

Not exactly, guess you'll have to try on a few things.
