Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test drive for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

o1. The grocery store is out of food. What do you do?
o2. Wing injury! Call for help or stagger your way to one of our fine clinics.
o3. It's a busy evening at Good Spirits, one of Luceti's local bars. Do you dare try the drink specials?
o4. Have a talent for playing music? Try Cloud Nine's open mic night!
o5. Beach party? Snow party? Leaf-raking party? Gardening party? YOU DECIDE.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

Above all? HAVE FUN. Oh. And don't forget to RESERVE your characters.

And moments later his hand is covered in orange soda. Running with soda cans? Bad idea.]

Gaah! Not again! [Lacking grace or tact he desperately starts trying to sip it off the top of the can and sides of his hand. Oh what a mess.]

[She watches the soda spill all over his hand and all she can do is laugh. Her free hand quickly goes to cover her mouth as she tries to hide how hard she's laughing.]

What is that? [SO not opening her's now.]

It's. Soda. It's not supposed to do this.

[After he gets it under control, he switches hands and stares in dismay at his now sticky hand.]

What's it supposed to do then?

[Not trusting this drink at all.]

It's supposed to be tasty. Here.

[He hands over his already opened can. He doesn't want to risk the other one.]

Fine. [She'll trust the already open one and take a sip of it.

And WHOA! Wasn't expecting that! It's all bubbly. She just looks very confused.] How...? Is it supposed to be like this?

Well, it's done through a process of carbonation and flavoring. But uh. It's a fuzzy memory.

[He got so much science in Luceti, but it's still coming back slowly.]

Wait! You actually know how this stuff is made?

Well... sort of? I mean, Katara and Toph kept acting like it was bubbles airbended inside. But that didn't sound scientifically sound to me. Soooo I looked it up.

[Eheh. He's a science geek sometimes.]

I probably would think the same thing.

But, um, what else have you learned here?

Well. Um. Lots of things? Lots of science-y stuff. Boring technical things. [Stuff he assumes she wouldn't care about.]

[She's just gonna take it as he doesn't want to talk about it.]

Oh. I guess I'd get pretty confused by it anyway.

[NOW! She'll awkwardly stand there. Cause, um, what else is there to say?]

Yeah. Especially alchemy circles. Those are just crazy. [Also he realizes that Suki's hands are full with both sodas. He points at the unopened one.] Uh, I can take that one.

[Have a look, because what is alchemy? But she's distracted by the sodas.]

Oh. Um, yeah, of course. [She hands it to him.] What are you going to do with it?

Well, I was thinking I could drink it? Later? But I just figured you might want to have an empty hand.

[He's a bad boyfriend! Making her carry both drinks!]

It won't do that thing on you again, will it? [Do you really want to sticky hands?

And he is an awful boyfriend.]

If I leave it alone for awhile, it should be fine! [So he'll just... hold it! Actually, he's walking to the fountain. He's going to rinse his hands off over there.] Besides, it's important you fully savor your first soda. You'll never have it for the first time again.

[Her hand quickly goes to cover her mouth as she laughed.]

It's really a spiritual experience. Something I won't forget for the rest of my life.

You joke, Suki. But you'll be hooked before long. Trust me.

And what makes you so sure? [She was about to laugh, but stopped herself. The other Suki probably liked it, so he probably just knew from that.]

[The way her expression changed was hint enough she was at one of those uncomfortable realziations.]

You can just tell me if it's something I liked before, you know? I'd rather just know instead of making a fool out of myself.
