Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test drive for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.

Stoick | How To Train Your Dragon / Riders Of Berk

[There's a seven foot tall viking in Luceti. He's not necessarily new either. But he has a problem, you see. Every door he goes into, his big horned helmet catches the door and tumbles off. It's very frustrating, as you might imagine. Especially if he's exiting the grocery with an armload of food. This just isn't his day.]

[dragoneer]

[Clearly he needs the help of his handy, reliable son!!! Who is currently hobbling behind him on crutches. He's still not supposed to use his automail, so crutches are requisite, aaaand it makes bending down to grab dad's helmet a little bit tricky.

And a lengthy process. He's not getting down there anytime soon.]

Just, ah - give me a moment, here, uh, I got it...

[stoick]

Hiccup! [Oh boy. Stoick peers over his armload of food and his great beard to watch this rather unfortunate display of... well, this.]

By Odin, I can get it myself. You're going to fall over like that.

[dragoneer]

No, no! It's okay, really, I should, uh, move. Exercise. Moving! Yeah. Don't worry, Iiii...

[Honestly he is only like halfway there now. But...he'll...get there...]

[stoick]

[Fine. He'll watch. Hopefully Hiccup won't fall over.

But you know. They're vikings. Falling over is a think they do.]

Okay, getting a little closer...his finger tips can just about brush one of the horns now...]

Stoic is leaning in to watch. Which means a couple of apples slip out of his hand. To bop on Hiccup's head.]

Ack, hey - [Apples do give him momentum in the right direction, but it's not exactly pleasant nor expected, so the impact sends Hiccup skittering to the floor, crutches sprawled as he tries to keep himself from landing on his foot.

At least he holds up the helmet, victorious, when all is said and done.]

S-see? Got it!

[stoick]

[He winces slightly at the bopping. But no apologies. Vikings don't apologize for bopping.]

So you did, son. Well done. You'll have to be carrying it home for me. I don't rightly have the use of my arms.

[And let's face it. Hiccup doesn't have much of a chance of putting it back on Stoick's head.]

[dragoneer]

Right. I'll just - do that, then.

[At least sprawled on the floor like this, it's easy to put the helmet on his own head. How...thrilling to experience the other half of mom's breastplate. He gets his knees underneath him and eases himself back up on the crutches.]

[mybearhands]

[A bad time to get caught while entering a shop, because this results in a sword being pointed towards his neck.]

Well, well. I shoulda expected a man of the north to come for me, even here.

[stoick]

[So all those groceries he had? They're on the ground now as Stoick backs away and swats the sword with his hammer.]

You've picked the wrong viking to pick a fight with, Highlander!

[mybearhands]

[Fergus quickly brings the sword around for another fierce swing.]

Ohhh, I think I picked jus' the right one! I've been fightin' bears for so long - about time I met someone who's less of a challenge!

[stoick]

[This time he uses his maul to block the sword. He applies some force against it to push back the Scotsman.]

You'll have to do better if you consider bears a challenge. Try dragons.

[He's staggered back for the moment and this time waits for Stoick's advance.]

Dragons? I'll be havin' none of your tall tales here, Northerner!

[Here comes another mighty blow from the man who used to wrestle dragons. These two are probably going to kill one another.]

[Not while this queen has anything to say about it. Honestly, Elinor was just peering at something else in the grocery when Fergus disappeared from her side. Not that that was alarming, all she had to do was follow the sound of battle to its source to find him again.

And true to form, here he was, provoking a Highlander of all people! She sighs and strides right between the two men, face a mask of grim seriousness.]

Again, Fergus?

[One moment he was bracing himself against Stoick's latest blow. And in the next, he is a shrinking puppy of a man looking towards his queen.]

But - but Elinor! He's one of the Invaders! I had to...

But nothing, Fergus! Honestly, I leave you alone fer one minute an' here you are picking a fight with the first armed man you see. [She gives him a stern look.]

Oh, now that's not true! I saw at least two other armed men before I noticed this dirty invader gettin' his head stuck in the door.

[He looks towards Stoick for moral support.]

[stoick]

Aye. Your man had it coming, boasting about bears.

[There is a code among warriors. Don't let your wives get between a fight.]

Was he doing that again? [She gives Fergus an imperious eyeroll and a vaguely fond smile, before she turns to face/look up at the towering Stoick.] Truly sorry, I'm afraid he can't help himself at times. He likes ta remind people of how he's earned the name Bear King.

Yer sayin' it like it's a bad thing, lass! He's the one tellin' tall tales about dragons!
