Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test drive for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

Ash Ketchum | Pokemon (Best Wishes!)

[ Hey so today was a nice day to do things! Cold weather aside, it was peaceful and relaxing and just the right day to just go outside into the village and have some fun!

1. He's going to play in the snow a bit.
2. Then go to the grocery store to find out that they have no more food. Cue a hungry Pokemon Trainer wishing for food right now!
3. Then back in town just taking in the sights. Why not. ]

(( OOC: He'll have Pikachu with him for test drive. Haven't decided on his two other Pokemon if he'll even have two other Pokemon. Damn him and catching ten Pokemon in Unova. ))

[guilmon]

[Sniff, sniff, sniff... Guilmon smells something strange! It's not a Digimon, but it's something... very different! Something Guilmon can't quite put his finger on.

Well, more like claw, but.]

Maa... It has to be close. Really close!

[And in the midst of his wandering he might've just bumped into Ash from behind. Whoopsie!]

[ Whoops! Guilmon certainly did, and because of it Ash was caught off guard, tumbling onto the ground. Pikachu, who was on his shoulder, was lucky enough to have jumped down and landing on the ground next to him. Ash had face planted, but luckily there is snow on the ground!

He picks up himself up a little and shakes his head, snow flying off him before turning to look at the one who bumped into him after noticing Pikachu was looking at said culprit with curiosity. ]

He-- What are ya?

[ A new Pokemon he's never seen before? ]

[guilmon]

[Ope! That crash sends Guilmon falling down on his rump. His eyes spin around, and he rubs at his head, letting out a whine.

But once he shakes off his dizziness, he'll look to Pikachu, then Ash.]

Oh! Guilmon is a Digimon.

[And apparently lots of people don't know what that means. D'aw.]

[ Pikachu climbs back onto Ash's shoulder before the two of 'em look at Guilmon with confusion. ]

Ahh! You can talk! [ pause ] What's a Digimon?

[ Sorry Guilmon. He's one of those people who doesn't know what that means. But he's curious! ]

[guilmon]

Lots of Digimon can talk!

[Except for some. Devidramon mostly just growled... But that's not what matters right now.]

And Digimon are digital monsters. That means we're made of data.

[He sniffs the air and points a claw up at Pikachu.]

Na, is he a Pokey-mon? He doesn't smell like a Digimon...

So... y' a monster made of data that can talk? That's pretty cool!

[ Though most things are cool to Ash. He glaces at Pikachu before smiling. ]

Yeah! This is Pikachu!

[ Pikachu waves while squealing it's name as a greeting to Guilmon. ]

[What's that? Wishing for food? Our starving friends radar must of went off because you'll be bumping right into Cilan outside the grocery store when you leave.]

Hm? Oh, Ash, is everything alright?

[ Cilan! Our savoir! Feed us with your delicious sandwiches and snacks! ]

Cilan! The Grocery Store is outta food so me and Pikachu don't have anything t' eat!

[cilantro]

[...Why are we not that surprised that you're hungry. Though the grocery running out again is a little surprising.]

Really? That's a bit of a strange taste for the store to be out of food... [But hey, we're not gonna let a thing like that try to stop us.] Alright, leave it to me. I'm sure we've still got enough supplies back at our kitchen to make something for the two of you.

[ Because "I'm always hungry and that's that!" C'mon Cilan. Get it together. ]

How is anyone 'posed to get food if it's all out? [ but oh you mentioned making something! yes! ] Really? Thanks Cilan! Let's hurry so y' can get cooking right away!

[cilantro]

[Ash... ^^;;] Well, hopefully the people in charge will be able to restock it soon. In the meantime, let's head on back.

[We'll lead the way back to our apartment, and once they're at the kitchen, Cilan will be immediately looking through the fridge and cabinets to see what's left of what we have...well, it looks like they still have enough to at least make a few sandwiches for now, so he'll get started on doing that as he waves Ash over to a chair at the kitchen table to wait at.] Don't worry, it shouldn't take too long to whip up a lunch with a filling taste!

Okay! Let's go, Pikachu!

[ And Ash follows his friend back to the apartment and takes off his hat, putting it next to him as he then sits down in the chair that Cilan waved him over to. Pikachu jumps off his shoulder and onto the table and waits a bit more patiently than his trainer. ]

Thanks, Cilan! You're a lifesaver!

[ As long as you really don't take long to make those sandwiches. You don't want happy Ash to turn into complaining Ash. ]

[Yes, good Ash, no wearing hats at the table. And no, we wouldn't want that, so once he's washed his hands, Cilan gets right to work on making those sandwiches, and some poke'food for Pikachu too, of course. The latter can take a little longer than the sandwiches to make, but Cilan is good on his word on doing his best to make sure that it doesn't take an absurdly long time, attention completely focused on the task at hand.

After some minutes pass--and probably right around the point where Ash could start potentially complaining, Cilan will be happily setting down the plates in front of them.]

Here we are--without further delay, it's lunch time~!

[ While Cilan was cooking Ash' steadily started to grow impatient, shifting in his chair a few times. But right before he could sigh he instead perked up, delighted to see the food reaching the table and being set down. ]

Finally!

[ He only took a small moment for Ash to pick up his sandwich and take a bit out it. He munches on it happily. ]

Mmm, this is great, Cilan!

[ Pikachu agrees as he takes a bite of poke'food, munching it just as happily as his trainer. ]

[cilantro]

[After he brings back some drinks for them, he'll take a seat in the next unoccupied chair.]

It was the best I could do on short notice, but I'm glad it has a satisfying taste nonetheless.

[ Ash takes another bite out his sandwich before taking a small drink. ]

'O course! [ When has your food ever been terrible Cilan? ] I'm glad you're here! [ What would be be doing if you weren't? ]

[cilantro]

[I don't know, you'd be potentially starving to death?]

Thank you, Ash. We're happy to be here too if it means continuing to assist in making sure you eat well.

Does this mean I can come by anytime when I'm hungry?

Of course you can--you're free to come by whenever you'd like!

[Heck you could camp out right outside our kitchen and we wouldn't raise that much of an objection to it. ^^;;]
