Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test drive for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

o1. The grocery store is out of food. What do you do?
o2. Wing injury! Call for help or stagger your way to one of our fine clinics.
o3. It's a busy evening at Good Spirits, one of Luceti's local bars. Do you dare try the drink specials?
o4. Have a talent for playing music? Try Cloud Nine's open mic night!
o5. Beach party? Snow party? Leaf-raking party? Gardening party? YOU DECIDE.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

Above all? HAVE FUN. Oh. And don't forget to RESERVE your characters.

Evan stares at the bald eagle currently going through the t-shirts with something like bemusement on his face. He had been minding his own business, looking through the clothes and wondering if his prosthetic arm counted as an item of clothing or simply an item when the eagle flew in.

Okay, this place was weird to start with, but this? This is beyond weird.

[Because talking to a large bird of prey which could take his face off and was acting strangely was a smart thing to do, yes.]

[Well. When he sees a bird acting weird, his first impulse is 'Need any help,' not 'Die, Andalite scum.' He probably isn't a Yeerk, so it's probably safe to talk to him.

She turns and gives him a look.]

[Talking bird. Right then. What on earth was he expecting when he asked a question? A raptor call and getting attacked in the face? Ouch.

But first, question to answer.]

Oh, uh. This place is called Luceti. It's some sort of bubble universe....[He waves his hand around in a circular gesture.] thing. Oh!

[Evan grabs his journal off the table where he had set it to look through things. He flips it open in an impressive feat of one handed dexterity and turns to the guide.]

There a guide in the journals. Here- [He holds it out towards the eagle then pauses.] Uh... Can you read? [Because eagle.]

[She tries to roll her eyes, remembers that eagles can't do that, and manages instead to twitch her head weirdly and uncomfortably.

Ow.]

{I can read just fine. Can't exactly hold a book.}

[She flexes her wing demonstratively. No need, she decides, to mention this was a temporary situation. Not yet. Besides, she couldn't demorph anyway, she didn't have any clothing...]

[Evan raises an eyebrow at the weird head twitch thing, wondering if the eagle was debating on going for his face.]

Oh. Alright then. [He tilts the journal so the eagle can read.

...Nothing in life could have prepared him for this. the fact he's doing this so calmly can only be chalked up to the fact this place is weird as hell and too many shocks to the system means he stops getting overly shocked.]

It's a bit long... But the basics are up at the top. You, uh, you should have gotten a journal too, if you're a new arrival. [Which the dress in your claw seems to point to.]
