Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test drive for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

o1. The grocery store is out of food. What do you do?
o2. Wing injury! Call for help or stagger your way to one of our fine clinics.
o3. It's a busy evening at Good Spirits, one of Luceti's local bars. Do you dare try the drink specials?
o4. Have a talent for playing music? Try Cloud Nine's open mic night!
o5. Beach party? Snow party? Leaf-raking party? Gardening party? YOU DECIDE.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

Above all? HAVE FUN. Oh. And don't forget to RESERVE your characters.

[...sort of. She stopped looking like she were about to cry, at least. Hinata was then free to grab Noda by the shoulders and shove him away from the store.]

[Once they were out of earshot, he'd let Noda go, grinning lazily as he often did.] Ah... You really did a number on that poor girl! What happened, they didn't have what you wanted?

Why else would a customer be yelling at the workers at a store? Of course they didn't have what I wanted to acquire!

[He's looking frustrated, but he's definitely a lot calmer than before.]

Well, that's not the fault of the girl greeting people at the door, is it?

[He reached up to link his fingers behind his head.] You have to get the manager for things like that! Maybe you just like brandishing your axe at innocent girls...

[Of course Noda hadn't thought of that. Now he had a look of guilt on his face.]

I suppose that's true...

[What's that you said last?] No, I was not trying to harm that girl!

[Noda seems to finally understand his error, pulling a small smile from Hinata. He doesn't exactly like Noda, but he doesn't want to cause him any problems either. Why not help him out this time?]

[Wait, he... wasn't trying to harm her? He looked off elsewhere, muttering something under his breath.] Wouldn't be the first time... [But he quickly looked back to Noda, grinning as he had been.] What did you want to buy, anyway? I'm sure we can find something like it... and I'll even go into the store for you.

[OF COURSE why would he lift his axe to a lady who's not his enemy? But he gives a scoff as he looks away.]

I don't need your assistance. I will go acquire it myself next time it's available.

[WHAT A STUBBORN IDIOT]

Suit yourself! [Hinata gives a nonchalant shrug, expecting the rejection to begin with.] If you change your mind, I'll be at the coffee shop!

[AKA I'm going to go help Yuri.]

[He doesn't really care about the first part, but when he heard "coffee shop" he freezes for a moment...]

The coffee shop that Yurippe owns? I will accompany you.

[Hinata stifles a knowing grin, slipping his hands into the pockets of his jacket.] Sure! You can walk with me if you want.

[He turns on his heel, pretending not to care as he walks off, peering over his shoulder every so often to make sure the society shut-in is following. Yuri wanted him to re-shingle the roof, no way he was doing it alone! ~~Isn't that why he went looking for Noda in the first place?~~]
