Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test drive for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

Sergeant Calhoun | Wreck-It Ralph

[There really isn't much to do around Luceti when you're used to spending every single day fighting in a neverending war. Even so, though, Calhoun has found ways to keep herself busy. Keep on keepin' on, and all that.

She can be found at any point today:

a) Running a perimeter check. Hey, you never know if a Cy-Bug is going to show up in this place. Or something worse.
b) Spending a good amount of time at the Battle Dome, running any number of battle simulations.
c) Stiffly making her way home after the above with a half-crushed wing. Her armor is not very wing-friendly.
d) Finally slightly relaxing at the end of the day at Good Spirits. No booze. Gotta keep things rated T for Teen, right?

She might not be the sunniest person in the enclosure, but hey, tall space marine chicks are always fun to go bother, right?]

[Suddenly a nine year old glitch, hanging upside-down from a tree up ahead!]

[For one brief second, Calhoun is just surprised enough to get her gun ready and do a quick scan for enemies...]

[...And then Calhoun realizes that her surprise "attacker" is just the local presidential glitch of Sugar Rush. Gun lowered. Exasperated look is a go.]

Hey, hey! It's called a dramatic entrance! Geez, everyone's a critic...

Dramatic entrances ain't the best idea around someone on patrol. [Especially when you don't just regenerate afterward. Okay, well, you do, but slowly, and that's not too cool.]

Any particular reason you're dropping in like this?

[For all the stiffness in her manner, her tone isn't all that snappy. She's not entirely unhappy to see you, Vanellope.]

Do I gotta have a reason t'see my faaaavorite sergeant ever? [Swinging up and around her tree branch so she's sitting on it properly, now! She grins down at Calhoun, the very picture of innocence.]

[Yeah, she doesn't buy that innocent look for an instant. But still, a slight smirk tugs at one corner of her mouth.]

Flattery won't float this boat, kid. What're you really out here for? Unless you're aiming to make the cut to join in on patrol.

[Oddly, she might actually trust the girl for it. She's already seen how much butt the glitch can kick if she puts her mind to it.]

[sugarglitch]

[Vanellope grins at the thought of being included into one of the Sarge's perimeter checks! She hops right off of the tree branch, landing neatly on one closer to Calhoun's eyelevel.]

Ooh, me on border patrol? Sounds exciting!! I thought you'd never ask~!

[gonna_shoot_it]

[Well, since she's going along with it, Calhoun assumes the Serious Face. Because hey, you have to set the right tone for these things. Even though the worst they will probably find out here is a squirrel.]

If you're gonna be one of my soldiers, you're gonna have to be the best of the best. Think you've got what it takes?

[Before she can set herself up a scenario, she has to wait behind Logan, who is busy designing one for himself. It's quite the elaborate death maze, if she's at all paying attention to what he's doing. Of course, he's taking his time doing this. Oh, sure, someone is behind him. But perfection waits for no one.]

[gonna_shoot_it]

[Waiting wouldn't be a problem. Really, it wouldn't. If it wasn't for the fact that this guy is just taking forever. It looks like an interesting enough simulation from what she can see, but still. It was some time ago that she folded her arms impatiently, but now she's tapping a finger against the shoulder of her armor. And that really only lasts a very short amount of time before she can't keep herself shut up any longer.]

Care to hurry it up, shortstack? If you don't get in there sometime this decade, I will.

[snikting]

[When you live long enough at this height, you expect the short jokes. Or just being shorter than other people. All the same, it's still a pain in the ass. Annoyed, he turns around to object.]

You better watch who you're calling--

[It's then, when he's actually turned around, that he realizes he's staring at someone's stomach. Lower than that, even. Stunned, he backs up to take a look up at the woman addressing him.]

--short. Damn, they make 'em big where you're from.

[gonna_shoot_it]

[She is incredibly unimpressed, Logan. That growl of yours? She's heard the same thing out of half her men. And it never amounts to anything with them. The most she'll grant it is a slight raise of eyebrows.]

So we agree, then. But that doesn't answer my question.

[Hurry it up, bub.]

[snikting]

Well you're just going to have to wait, lady. Best to make yourself comfortable.

[He even turns around. Sure, she's big. But she's no Juggernaut. He's going to finish this program right. Giant women be damned.]

[gonna_shoot_it]

[Yeah, no. She warned you, Logan. She said she'd go in there if he didn't, and she meant it.

And so she'll just go right ahead and try to shove him aside and punch the start button.]

[snikting]

[Before her hand could reach anything, three adamantium claws popped out to block the way. He didn't turn around.]

I'd suggest rethinking that.

[Ralph is sitting at the bakery enjoying some muffins when she barges into it in full-on perimter check mode. He sighs and goes on sarcastically.]

Gee, Sarge, it's like deja vu all over again.

[gonna_shoot_it]

[Yeah, she's just going to keep on scanning this bakery and ignore you and your muffins for now, Ralph. Clearly you have learned nothing about environments the bugs thrive in.]

Can it, hamfists. I'm a little busy here.

[A slight gulp, but he goes on.]

With what? Checking the sugar rack for aliens? They just don't have these kinda things here.

[Now she glances over at him, eyes narrowing.]

And just because there weren't any the last you looked, you think it'll stay that way forever? I can't afford to take that kind of risk.

[And with that piercing gaze, he starts to shrink back.]

Y-yes, ma'am.

Now are you gonna make yourself useful and help me look or not?
