Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test drive for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

[Oh, Fayt didn't doubt that. A glance around these books seemed to tell quite a tale about this place, and they needed to find a way back somehow. He heads out of the dome, trusting Cliff to follow him as he makes his way to the restaurant he'd seen earlier.]

....Do you think the others might end up here, too?

[The trust was well placed; Fayt was the first guide he had found, outside of the book, and he wasn't eager to let the kid out of his sight in this strange place. Fayt was capable, but this wasn't a world that they were familiar with.]

Honestly? I'd be surprised if they didn't, or if they weren't here already. From what you said and what I've read? Time doesn't work right.

It's possible that they could have come and we wouldn't have noticed a thing.

Yeah, they had a whole section in the books about it, in that welcome guide. I guess we just have to keep an eye out.

[The fact that the people here even needed a welcome guide... or that someone had enough time here to gather enough information to write something so extensive said something about this place. 'Welcome to our inter-dimensional prison'?

With that thought, though, something occurs to him. He'd thought to ask Cliff anyway, given how vague his last memories of home were, but--]

[That same fact intrigued Cliff as well, along with the suggestions that even their eventual returns home might not be permanent. Time and memory were distinct problems, and the nature of these experiments...

How far would these 'scientists' go to test the limits of a sentient mind?

He glanced down at Fayt, already knowing how he would respond to that question. If time was a factor, then odds that their respective memories would match were just as high as the odds that they would.]

We were at the castle in Aquaria. With Nel.

[And Maria, as well as the others that had arrived with the Diplo. Fayt's explosive outburst wasn't something that Cliff wanted to revisit so quickly, especially after seeing how the raw and uncontrolled power affected both Fayt and Maria.]

Damn. They'd been there a bunch of times, but they hadn't gone back since they'd retrieved the sacred orb to reach Luther. He wasn't quite sure when Cliff was from just from that.] We've been there several times.... at least in my case.

What do you remember before that?

[The distance between them was further than he realized. It was clear that Fayt was further along in the timeline than he was, just from those two sentences, but he wasn't sure how much Fayt would remember about that incident as time drew on.]

My people have arrived for our pick-up, and my boss came to have that little chit-chat with you.

[.....A lot further, apparently. That was quite a while back for Fayt, and it made any explanation he could give a lot more complicated then he'd thought it would be.

How did he even begin to explain?]
