Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test drive for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

o1. The grocery store is out of food. What do you do?
o2. Wing injury! Call for help or stagger your way to one of our fine clinics.
o3. It's a busy evening at Good Spirits, one of Luceti's local bars. Do you dare try the drink specials?
o4. Have a talent for playing music? Try Cloud Nine's open mic night!
o5. Beach party? Snow party? Leaf-raking party? Gardening party? YOU DECIDE.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

Above all? HAVE FUN. Oh. And don't forget to RESERVE your characters.

[Judging by the look on Zuko's face, he clearly doesn't.]

No, I don't remember ever meeting you.

[However, the fact that he knows Sokka and Katara is noteworthy and he faces Roku more appropriately. This giving him the chance to give the guy a better look over.]

[The clothes, hair, and name said it all. Although while the name did strike a certain chord, it wouldn't exactly be unheard of for someone to be named after the late Avatar.]

Oh, well...we sort of met when you were here before, but I guess you don't remember that now.

[It's a real shame really...but at least he has some ideas of how to talk to Zuko now.]

And that's right, I am. What are you doing out here and when did you get here?

[Wait wat. Roku's question gets tuned out in favor of boggling over what he'd said before. Zuko giving him a stunned look.]

What are you talking about? I've been here before?!

[That's... news to him.]

Twice, since I've been here. Both times you forgot you were here before.

[lordhotman]

[TWICE? Zuko practically sputters at that. It wasn't exactly something he could easily believe.]

That's impossible!

[With that the Fire Lord growls and proceeds to stalk away. He wasn't taking any more of this crap. It didn't make a bit of sense! He's so getting out of here.]

[flameoroku]

[ajksghjsak Well Roku's not gonna leave you wondering on your own.]

Well have you talked to the others yet? Where are you going?

[lordhotman]

[Well that's fine but Zuko isn't stopping. He doesn't even look at Roku.]

To the barrier. I'm getting out of here!

[Yep.]

[flameoroku]

[....Oh dear.] Well I can save you the trip and tell you firebending it isn't going to break the barrier.

[lordhotman]

[This little bit of information doesn't seem to deter him in the slightest as he continues stomping towards the edge of the village.]

I'll find a way through it!

[Little does he know how many people have tried and with what.]

By doing what!? If there really was a way to get out, people would have left this place years ago.

[He's going to keep on following him] Besides, you don't know what's out there. This barrier is protecting us.

[lordhotman]

I'm not going to just sit here!

[Not doing anything would just be acknowledging the fact that he couldn't do anything. That he was stuck here just like everyone else, and Zuko wasn't ready to accept that.]

Stop following me!

[flameoroku]

No one said you had to but- [Trying to keep up with Zuko here, so he doesn't try to wiggle his way away from him]

The barrier's a loss cause! You're not going to be able to go back that way.

[lordhotman]

[At this Zuko came to a sudden hault and turned to face Roku with a scowl.]

You have any better ideas?!

[Clearly he seemed to think that he wouldn't, but then something caught his eye that he hadn't noticed previously. For now Zuko is staring at Roku.]

[flameoroku]

W-Well uh, you could start by asking people around what they have tried. So then you don't have to repeat the same attempt?

[Aka, I'm going to buy some time until you cool down.]

[lordhotman]

[Roku's words go completely disregarded as Zuko's thoughts have now shifted gears a bit]

Where did you get that?!

[He points at Roku's head.]

Who are you, really?

[flameoroku]

[He reaches up out to touch the crown that once belong to his good friend Sozin...and here he was hoping he could bring that detail up later, but since Zuko decided to say something first.]

Would you believed me if I said I was the Avatar?

[lordhotman]

[... Nope. This is not happening. No, nope, nu-uh, no way. Zuko's eye twitches slightly as he folds his arms and scowls.]

No, I wouldn't. Avatar Roku was an old man that died a hundred years ago!

[flameoroku]

[Well he tried. With a sigh, he decides to prove who he is by actually demonstrating through bending. That always worked. Have a small puff of air to knock down that hood of yours, emo kid.]

[lordhotman]

[Zuko stands his ground, waiting for some sort of retort. Which comes in the form of a small blast of air. His hood falling back.]

. . .

I'm leaving.

[He turns around and stalks off again.]

[flameoroku]

[asghsakj G-Geh Zuko. Plz. He's going to keep following after you whether you want him to or not.]

Are you still going to try to reach the barrier?

[lordhotman]

[Whatever. He just keeps going in his grumpy grumpiness.]

Yeah.

[flameoroku]

But-...Hey [He reaches for Zuko's shoulder.] Come on, I wasn't trying to make you mad. I was just proving who I am. Why don't we go back and meet up with the others?
