Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test drive for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

[It's obvious their conversation won't get any better from here on out; it will only go downhill and to the point of no return. But Oak isn't going to let this get too far. He's had enough and will not continue to converse with her anymore.

He reached for his Pokeballs within his labcoat pocket and used them to call back his Pokemon. After that was done, he placed them back into his pocket before giving Agatha a few last words]

We're done here.

[So he thinks he can just end it and walk away like he did before, does he? She laughs - always the fool, always trying to ruin her opportunities -]

Do you really believe you can avoid me for long in this bubble? This is far from over.

[meanoldnut]

[She's right. As much as he wanted to, he can't ignore her forever, especially since Luceti is so small. They're bound to cross paths again sooner or later, but he'll worry about that when that day comes]

Maybe, but one day you will change your ways and end this petty grudge you have against me.

[That's what he's hoping for, at least. Anyone can turn over a new leaf, but it's up to them to put forth an effort to keep it that way.]

How dare you! Everything I've ever worked for - one day you will understand! I will dedicate all of my time to seeing that fulfilled.

[The Professor sighed as he begin to walk away. He's said what he had to say; he's through with her now]

Goodbye, Agatha.

[Oh, did he think he could just - dismiss her, simple as that? She narrows her eyes at his departing back. She would be watching.

In fact.

She calls on her Gastly, and quietly instructs it to warp her to several feet in front of Oak's new position. Turn his back on her, would he? He wasn't going to have the last word. Not if she could help it.]

[Oak wasn't expecting to speak to Agatha again after their little conversation went awry, so imagine his surprise to see the old woman a few feet in front of him, stopping him dead in his tracks. Tricky she may be, Oak still has nothing else to add and is really getting sick and tired of her behavior. Why can't she just let it be?]

Agatha, I had enough! This conversation is over!

[everghosting]

Did you really think I'd just let you walk away from me like that yet again? Do you no longer have the strength to do battle for those beliefs of yours?

[meanoldnut]

I've already beaten you in battle before, but if I must do so to prove a point once again, then so be it.

[He takes out a Pokeball from his labcoat pocket. If it's a battle she wants, then it's a battle she'll get]

[everghosting]

The only point that will be proven is mine.

[A battle to be held right in the hallway of a facility. Not quite unlike a battle they once had years ago- she laughs, to cover a subtle click of a pokeball.]

Let's go, Oak!

[meanoldnut]

[Oak wasted no time to release his Pokemon from the ball, who in this case happens to be Fearow. Once Agatha releases one of her own, the battle can officially begin]

[everghosting]

[Arbok appears a moment later, it's tongue flicking as it faces the other Pokemon.

No need to waste time. There's grim determination in her expression.]

Ready? Use leer, now!

[meanoldnut]

[The Beak Pokemon felt a little intimidated by Arbok's leer, which had successfully lowered its defense. That doesn't mean the snake's not going to get the same treatment, assuming Fearow can pull this off]

Mirror Move!

[everghosting]

[The move takes Arbok by surprise, also subsequently lowering it's defense. Agatha is still counting on the cobra's speed to keep up, however - at least enough to try and wear down the bird.]

Arbok, use Body slam!

[meanoldnut]

Fly behind it and use Fury Attack!

[Fearow barely dodged Arbok's Body Slam, thanks to the power of flight. It gave the bird a small window of opportunity to follow with its Trainer's command.]

[everghosting]

[Now this was a real battle. Arbok takes a bit of a beating, more than it would have thanks to the previous leer and it's positioning, but Agatha knows it will take more than that to have it down and out completely.]

Roll over and use Wrap when he's finished!

[meanoldnut]

[It didn't take long before Fearow was finished with his recent attack, only to find himself wrapped up in his enemy's binds. The bird began to screech as the wrap tightens his body, taking away a good portion of his health. Still, Oak has a plan, but would it work?]

Use the same attack to free yourself, stab Arbok's skin!

[everghosting]

Keep restricting his movements as much as you can!

[Arbok struggles to keep it's hold with Wrap, tightening its coils to try and keep the attempted jabbing to a minimum. It's still feeling those jabs due to it's increased sensitivity.]

[Things aren't looking good for poor Fearow, but at least he's still putting up a fight. Despite a few screeches here and there due to the tightened Wrap, he still continues to stab his opponent's skin until he's set free]

Keep it up, Fearow!

[everghosting]

[If those jabs keep up, the situation might turn more in Fearow's favor. The wrap slowly weakens- but Arbok needs to act fast to keep the upper hand.]

All right! Use Body Slam! Now!

[meanoldnut]

[What Oak and Fearow are willing to do at this point would either grant them victory or a disappointing loss. They just have to act at the right time in order to win this match. This one move should do the trick or at the very least turn the tides. Only one way to find out...]

Quick! Use Mirror Move before it Body Slams you!

[Just what was he trying to do...? There's not much time to wonder, as the two Pokemon suddenly collide. She had to think fast - had she misjudged how much strength his Fearow had?

No matter - Arbok had to be ready to act once the collision finishes its course.]

Regroup and Leer!

[meanoldnut]

[He was hoping that Fearow would used Mirror Move to wrap itself around Arbok, just as it did with him not to long ago. But instead, the Beak Pokemon received a dizzying headache from the collision. Could that mean that the Pokemon is confused?]

Fearow, snap out of it! Dodge the Leer!

[But Fearow was unable to do so, feeling more intimidated by the snake than ever before. Surely one more psychical attack will finish this bird off; can Oak prevent that from happening?]

[everghosting]

[One must never underestimate an Oak, though she could only hope the old coot was out of practice. Agatha's eyes are narrowed, teeth gritted in concentration - it wasn't easy to gauge just how much more Arbok could last in this fight. If they wanted an assured victory, they would have to end this as soon as possible.]

Circle Fearow and attack with a Body Slam!

[An idea came to mind before Agatha had finished her command. It's a long shot, but it had been done before. If it worked for a certain blonde-haired trainer than maybe it'll work for him. He can only hope that Fearow can hang on and not let his dizziness get to him]

Circle Arbok as fast as you can!

[And the Beak Pokemon did, flapping his wings to increase enough speed to follow Arbok around and in circles. Maybe then will it give the snake a hard time to use Body Slam, since it can't afford a miss. But Fearow can only do this for so long, since he's getting dizzier and dizzier by the second]
