Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test flight for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

[The paths through the village make an excellent morning course, Agent Norman Jayden has found out.

At six o'clock every morning, he can be found jogging. He starts at the fountain, takes the path between the two bars up and goes around the paths, over several bridges, until passing the stores and clinic to return to the fountain. His pace is always moderate, nothing hard but not a stroll either.

Enough to work up a sweat but not enough to exhaust him. He's easy to stop on his way, not being a focused, dedicated jogger. It's just something to take up his mornings.]

[It's been a very, very slow day. And what does Agent Jayden do during slow days?

The glasses go on and ARI goes live.

He sees the blue brick wall very clearly, and the black glove on his hand catches a blue ball that he throws at the wall, watches bounce, then catches. 20,032. 20,033.

...To anyone else, he looks like a guy in sunglasses and one black glove miming bouncing and catching something.]

[Most evenings? Jayden can be found at either Seventh Heaven or Good Spirits. He tries to vary where he goes so he doesn't become quite a regular.

Tonight, he has an old favorite of his -- something called Arcturian Sunrise. It's a bright blue drink he walked the bartender through making: Curacao, blackberry liqueur, grenadine, and sparkling white wine.

Personally? He's very happy with how it turned out.]

[Sasuke has been watching from a nearby rooftop, his attention caught by someone doing something while doing nothing at all. In any normal circumstance, he'd couch it as insanity.]

[But his Sharingan see that the man's movements are methodical and perfect - exact. The way he throws and catches... it's in line with the physics of motion. If he had a real ball in his hand (Sharingan can guess at almost the exact size and weight), and if the wall were - he follows the motion of arm and hand in a toss, then a catch again - there, this man would be moving the exact same way. It's as though he does hold something physical.]

[He's been watching for a little more than a thousand throws when he finally descends from the roof with a light leap, approaching from the stranger's right side.]

You haven't missed one yet.

[At first, the game was an exercise. At least fifteen minutes twice a day every day. Its purpose was to acquaint him with ARI and get him used to the same effects. Then, it became a proper game. Eventually, it was something to occupy him when he was bored.

The sound of someone's voice makes him look up after catching the digital ball again. He makes a casual flick of his hand up to turn off the program and removes the sunglasses calmly. They go into his jacket pocket.

Hayden has gotten good (most of the time) at hiding the disorientation leaving ARI causes.]

I'm sorry. I was... a little lost in thought. What did you say?

[Near the clinic, Kiki swoops down on her deck brush and starts digging around in a few nearby bushes at the side of the path. She seems to be looking for something, using the handle of her brush to push branches and leaves out of the way so she can get a better look. Sadly, she doesn't seem to be having much success.

When she notices someone jogging down the path, Kiki quickly straightens out her clothes and fixes her hair before calling out.]

Excuse me sir, did you happen to see a cat on your way here?

A cat?

[Jayden stops before he speaks, standing in front of her and looking at the girl. After a moment, he shakes his head.]

I haven't, I'm sorry. Did yours get away from you?

[oceanviews]

[No? Oh dear, that's a shame. Kiki nods in thanks.]

Yeah... Well, kind of. I actually only arrived here a week or so ago and Jiji never showed up with me. Or at least I hope he didn't show up with me, I wouldn't want him lost out in the forest or somewhere in the village on his own.

I'll... I'll keep an eye out for him, okay? What's he look like?

[It's a cat. Not a missing person.

But it obviously matters to the girl, so. He'll at least show basic concern.]
