Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test flight for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

o1. The grocery store is out of food. What do you do?
o2. Wing injury! Call for help or stagger your way to one of our fine clinics.
o3. It's a busy evening at Good Spirits, one of Luceti's local bars. Do you dare try the drink specials?
o4. Have a talent for playing music? Try Cloud Nine's open mic night!
o5. Beach party? Snow party? Leaf-raking party? Gardening party? YOU DECIDE.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

Above all? HAVE FUN. Oh. And don't forget to RESERVE your characters.

Have you been going to school? [She waves an admonishing finger.]

[He pauses mid-bite and looks up at her innocently.]

Uh...yes? [He is the least convincing thing ever.]

It's just so boring!

[She narrows her eyes]

Goku-san, you haven't been going, have you?

[He glances away, unable to keep eye contact.]

...No.

But I already know how to read! Ten-chan taught me. [He may be pouting. Just...a bit.]

Well there's more to school than reading, you know. Home Economics classes can teach you how to cook...

[He looks at her surprise.]

Really? I could learn to cook? [Whelp maybe school isn't so bad after all.]

Can I eat what I cook? [Of course this is the most important question.]

...Yes...that is the point isn't it?

[Ugh, Goku...you are annoying sometimes.]

[He's a kid. Annoying is in his nature.]

Wow. [Dreamy sigh.]

Do you go to school to, Rei-chan?

No, I've got the shrine to run. I do study, though. A lot.

[Her tone has the added "like you should be doing too..." but she doesn't say it.]

What's the shrine for?

[And he'll just ignore the studying thing because he has the attention span of a gnat.]

It's a memorial to friends who have left. And a place for peace and quiet.

[A beat]

And a place I do fortune telling.

Have ya got a lot of friends who have left, Rei-chan?

[He stares at her blankly.]

What's...fortune telling?

I...do.

[Rei pauses, thinking of both Usagi from Ami's world and Usagi from her own, as well as Harry.]

Fortune telling is telling the future, Goku-san.

Whaaat? You can tell the future?

What about me? Can you tell what my future is gonna be like?

I can. Give me your hand, Goku-san.

[She holds out a palm, expectantly]

[He blinks and eyes her hand before holding his own out to her.]

What now?

[Rei takes his hand and taps her lip with a finger, indicating he should be quiet.

She keeps her eyes closed and traces her fingernail down the lines in his palm, gently, of course. Time to give him a little encouragement to go to school...]

Goku-san. I see that you'll attend school and become a great cook. Maybe even help in one of the restaurants here. But it's not clear which one...

[He leans in closer, watching her finger move across his palm in fascination. When she finally speaks he hangs onto her every word, eyes wide.]

Wow. You can tell all that by touching my palm?

That's really cool!

It's magic. I told you.

[Rei smiles, and then starts to eat.]

[He takes a cue from her and shoves some more food in his mouth. Unfortunately he doesn't quite swallow all the way before speaking.]

Can you teach me how to read fortunes?
