Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test flight for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

o1. The grocery store is out of food. What do you do?
o2. Wing injury! Call for help or stagger your way to one of our fine clinics.
o3. It's a busy evening at Good Spirits, one of Luceti's local bars. Do you dare try the drink specials?
o4. Have a talent for playing music? Try Cloud Nine's open mic night!
o5. Beach party? Snow party? Leaf-raking party? Gardening party? YOU DECIDE.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

Above all? HAVE FUN. Oh. And don't forget to RESERVE your characters.

[Her mother. Right. He still remembers the two Walkers in Savannah. They looked exactly like the people in the picture...]

Do you know what flowers she planted? We can put them there too.

[They never did have time for mourning. Maybe this can be a way to help her.]

[They were purple and they looked like they had black and white faces in the middle. But it feels weird sharing that with anyone.]

Well, if you remember, maybe we can find them. I'm sure there's a book on flowers in the library too.

[Though he doesn't think she wants to talk about it...]

For now we can just take these yellow ones. Two or three should be enough to fill the windowstill.

[She grabs a second and reaches for a third, though the last one might be a bit much for her.]

Do you like it here, Lee?

[He notices her struggling and opts to take the third one himself. He might have only one hand, but it shouldn't be too hard to hold it if he carries it straight.]

Yeah, it's nice. People seem friendly too.

[And no Walkers, but that goes without saying. Even if that same fact makes him feel out of place, he doesn't know if he can share that with Clementine. No need to make her worry. She's had enough of that he thinks.]

How about you? No one is giving you trouble, right?

But it's okay! I take care of Ben and Jack. And sometimes Buffy makes me milkshakes and talks to me about girl stuff.

[Right. Leaving. He hopes that doesn't happen to either of them. But he smiles when she talks to him about her friends.]

That's good. I'm glad you've taken to this place well. I saw there was a school here. Have you been going there?

Uh-huh! [She nods proudly.] Just like I promised I would!Are you gonna start teaching there, Lee?

[dadlyinstinct]

I've been thinking about it. Not really sure who I need to talk to about it. Never really taught school children before either.

[He definitely can't give teenagers college styled lectures. But, it would give him something to regularly spend his time on here. ...Though he wonders if the kids would get scared of a guy with one arm...]

What do you think? Should I go for it?

We're not all kids! There are lots of people from everywhere! But the older ones usually spend a lot of time trying to learn magic. I'm not good at that. [it MAKES NO SENSE and she stinks at it so it's dumb.]

I think you should come teach! You taught me a lot of things.

[dadlyinstinct]

You never used magic before, so it's just a matter of practicing. We can try learning together - I bet you know a lot more than I do. I'll definitely think about teaching, but...do you think the kids would be...weirded out by this?

[He says eyeing his half-there left limb. It isn't like he's expecting people not to stare, but he's hoping no one really asks how he lost it. It'd be too long a story. He doesn't always ask her for advice, because she is still a child, but he knows she'll be honest with him.]
