Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test flight for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

o1. The grocery store is out of food. What do you do?
o2. Wing injury! Call for help or stagger your way to one of our fine clinics.
o3. It's a busy evening at Good Spirits, one of Luceti's local bars. Do you dare try the drink specials?
o4. Have a talent for playing music? Try Cloud Nine's open mic night!
o5. Beach party? Snow party? Leaf-raking party? Gardening party? YOU DECIDE.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

[She doesn't know what sort of things Sofia Lamb could have been adding to her daughter after she was taken from the Little Sister program.]

No, I'm...well. I'm as healthy as anyone with a thing living in her stomach, I suppose.

[She shakes her head.]

That's not what I mean, though. I...[She looks at her hand.] My plasmids just feel...weaker. I'm not sure I am explaining it properly...

Do you feel as though you need more ADAM?

[The slug should be providing all that is needed, but she's not ruling it out just yet.]

[Eleanor hesitates for a moment. Could she? The rules were obviously different here.]

I don't know. I've never needed it before, I really haven't any idea what needing it would feel like.

I mean. Everything's working.

[She holds up her hand and the flame appears again, dancing around her fingers, and then she snuffs it out and watches the fast burns heal away.]

[Like the older ones, she creates her own ADAM. Tenenbaum wishes she had her notes with her.]

Perhaps it is simply a result of what they did to bring us here.

[The wings indicate some sort of genetic changes at the very least.]

...still. Tell me if you start feeling ill and I will do what I am able to help you.

[You are still one of her little ones, even if you don't remember her anymore.]

Maybe. [Eleanor suspected that too but she didn't like questions with answers she'd never have.] Or I'm just broken and it didn't show up until mother started dosing me.

[She's quiet after that offer, her brown eyes distant.]

Thank you. But...why? I never really understood why you agreed to help me find father, I still...am not sure why you would help me.

[She doesn't reply to the first bit, waiting for the question. She replies to it simply.]

In Rapture, I agreed to help you find your father because I hoped the two of you would help me free the little ones from your mother. It is the reason I returned to that city in the first place. To put an end to the work I started.

But I also help you because you are one of my little ones.

[Eleanor almost looks embarrassed. Although Tenenbaum's decision had been the right one, and Father had saved the new Little Sisters...well, Eleanor had been brought here before finishing the job.]

...I am sorry I can't remember you. I can't...remember much of anything from back then.

It happens when little ones grow. The first little ones I saved remember nothing either.

This is a good thing I think.

...Probably. Hopefully. I don't know. I know...I'm different the little sisters that Jack Ryan rescued. Or the ones my father freed.

[She frowns.]

I think I am closer to the guardians Doctor Alexander created out of the Little Sisters who were less fortunate than to anything...like your Little Ones.

The big sisters.

[Those ones hurt the most. Little ones she was unable to save, possibly lost for good.]

Perhaps. I hope to find a way to cure them as well.

It doesn't matter though, my program started it all, so you are all my little ones.

Mm. [Eleanor is skeptical but she's not going to voice that out loud.]

Anyway. Have you been settling in well?

[Small talk. Ach, she was never good at this.]

Well. Yes, just getting the apartment organized and such things.

[It's not something Eleanor is good at either, but she's genuinely curious.]

I...am glad to hear that. If you need an help or anything you will let me know, right?

Yes of course.

[But probably not. You should drop in and make sure she remembers to eat.]

I'm going to be busy trying to recreate the notes I left behind.

[That makes Eleanor pause.]

You...want to restart the experiments from Rapture here...?

[Tenenbaum however looks absolutely horrified.]

Restart? No! I am trying to fix my mistakes not recreate them. The reason I returned to Rapture was to stop such things!

My notes are on how to cure ADAM sickness. Was working on it before I was taken here, I cannot risk losing them. Also notes on how to create plasmid to free little ones from horrible creature inside them.

If anyone tries to restart my programs here, I will stop them. I will die before I see more innocents hurt by my sins.

[Oh dear, you hit a nerve.]

I...[Eleanor frowns.] I'm sorry. I've just...I've already seen it happen once.

[As she speaks, her hand goes to the spot in her side where she can always imagine she can 'feel' the slug living inside her, prompted by its mention.]

And it was my Mother, using me, I...

[She sighs.]

I didn't mean to accuse you of anything, Dr. Tenenbaum.

[Her expression softens at this, much like it is when she's speaking with one of her little ones. And is simply sad.]

No, I am sorry child. I was startled, that is all.

But you do not have to fear me restarting such a program here, or from me at all. This I promise.
