Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test flight for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

o1. The grocery store is out of food. What do you do?
o2. Wing injury! Call for help or stagger your way to one of our fine clinics.
o3. It's a busy evening at Good Spirits, one of Luceti's local bars. Do you dare try the drink specials?
o4. Have a talent for playing music? Try Cloud Nine's open mic night!
o5. Beach party? Snow party? Leaf-raking party? Gardening party? YOU DECIDE.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

Above all? HAVE FUN. Oh. And don't forget to RESERVE your characters.

[Never fear hungry lucetians, Senri is here and he's going to make everyone a really delicious soup.

Even if he did forget where the pots and pans were and spent half of the day trying to find them (in his defense, there were a lot of distractions along the way) his hands remembered the years of culinary experience that his mind did not. He doesn't remember how and why certain things smell and taste good together, just that they do. Since the grocery store is out of food, it's made from only the freshest and most delicious wild ingredients.

Like snakes.]

[Just follow your nose! It's what Vash does on one of his walks through the forest. It seemed like sound advice when your nose picked up something as good smelling as it was now. He rounds the corner and- oh! There's a face he hasn't seen in awhile.]

Well! Hey there shorty! Didn't know you were back!

[This was neither the first time nor the last time someone recognized Senri and he didn't have the faintest idea who they were. But this stranger in front of him was acting like they used to be friends. It's always a little sad to forget your friends.

Thankfully he had a protocol for this. Senri reached into bag and grabbed his flower book, flipping through pages of pressed flowers and...]

[... and there was nothing. Unfortunately when the malnosso decided to send him home they removed the flowers and other small pieces of memories he had gathered during his stay. He put his book back, still confused and a little disappointed.]

[Vash takes it stride. It's not the first time that someone he knew had left Luceti and come back. He slaps Senri on his back with a good amount of force, but not trying to hurt the young man.]

Don't worry about it! Luceti has that effect on people. Makes you forget your last visits, but for finding yourself in a strange world you seem to be taking it all in stride at least! What have you got cooking here?

[Senri made an awkward little half step forward at contact. If only because it's not often he is greeted by friendly-yet-still-forceful pats on the back and not because it was actually painful. However his was successfully distracted from feeling bad now, and the question switches his line of thinking from "can't remember this really friendly guy" to "what's for dinner".

He'll answer the way Senri usually does. Sort of distant, to the point, usually mistaken for being either really shy or really aloof even though he's neither.]

Soup.

[Clearly he is a master conversationalist.

but at the same time Senri will also helpfully hand his spoon over to Vash. Clearly his new friend is hungry.]

[Hungry he was! As there was one downfall of a grocery store that doesn't refill and refusing to kill, well, everything - one gets a bit hungry. Vash just grins and takes the spoon from Senri.] Soup, huh? It sure does smell good! Sure I can have some?

[Asked as he digs in anyway.]

[Vash's enthusiasm doesn't bother him.

In fact Senri is going to stand there and patiently wait to see if Vash likes it or not. ]
