Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test flight for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

o1. The grocery store is out of food. What do you do?
o2. Wing injury! Call for help or stagger your way to one of our fine clinics.
o3. It's a busy evening at Good Spirits, one of Luceti's local bars. Do you dare try the drink specials?
o4. Have a talent for playing music? Try Cloud Nine's open mic night!
o5. Beach party? Snow party? Leaf-raking party? Gardening party? YOU DECIDE.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

Above all? HAVE FUN. Oh. And don't forget to RESERVE your characters.

[Ahhh, Luceti. Good old Luceti, vacation spot for anyone sick of living in the real world. Nobody throws garbage at you for being different in Luceti. Everyone's different here. So Scott's going to celebrate the day by doing absolutely nothing. If anyone needs him, he'll be the guy stretched out on a beach chair in front of House 16 wearing swim trunks and sunglasses. Who cares if it's September? The world's not ending.

Feels good, man. Feels good.]


II.

[That whole "doing nothing" plan probably won't work very long once Scott's back up to speed on Luceti's current events. He'll be hitting the Danger Room Battledome fairly heavily afterwards. Except... Those controls aren't particularly intuitive. Did he accidentally send giant robots hurtling into your pastoral scenario? Or perhaps you slipped into the wrong door and almost ended up on the wrong side of some dude shooting laser beams from his eyes. Sorry about that.]

[It's such a dorky image, Kurt just has to find a way to spoil it. And he does, courtesy of one of the best finds he's had in the item shop (and one which Rogue likely went through great pains to try to hide from him).

It's a super soaker. And it's now firing at Scott's chest, while he lets out a satisfied laugh.]

Scott leaps from his seat, arms raised in defense.]

Kurt! I was in the middle of something!

[Dude, you're in swim trunks on the front lawn. He doesn't care how many abs you want to show off: it it's hot enough for sunbathing, it's hot enough for super soaking.

But there's a respite to Kurt's assault as he does some re-pumping.]

Oh yeah? [He goes on teasingly.] What were you in the middle of, getting the nerve up to ask the Sun out on a hot date?

Also have you seen how amazing his abs are getting, Kurt? They need time to breathe. And now they're wet and glistening in the sunlight. Who's the real winner here?]

I was-- [Think fast, Summers!] -- just working on some ideas. Plans. Something to get us home.

Sure you were. But I think you forgot your thinking shirt, man. [He says with a laugh. He's not even mad about how your abs look.] Get any bright ideas anyways?

[ Here comes Ororo, walking out onto their front lawn with one of those foldable lawn chairs tucked under her arm. She stops next to Scott, smiling serenely. ]

[Is he in trouble? He thinks he might be in trouble. But if he's in trouble, then Storm's just gone through a bit of effort to be in trouble with him. So. Maybe not? Let's test this.
