Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test flight for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

o1. The grocery store is out of food. What do you do?
o2. Wing injury! Call for help or stagger your way to one of our fine clinics.
o3. It's a busy evening at Good Spirits, one of Luceti's local bars. Do you dare try the drink specials?
o4. Have a talent for playing music? Try Cloud Nine's open mic night!
o5. Beach party? Snow party? Leaf-raking party? Gardening party? YOU DECIDE.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

Above all? HAVE FUN. Oh. And don't forget to RESERVE your characters.

[He attempts to react fast enough, but doesn't and falls onto the ground from being hit between his shoulders while screaming in agony. He tries to get back up, but his body won't let him.]

[He lands, walking over to where his son is currently writhing in pain. He's also wary of a surprise attack from his son. Just because you're on the ground screaming doesn't mean there isn't an opportunity to catch your opponent off-guard.]

Tell me, what good as this done you? Huh? Answer me that! Wait, I can answer that for you; you've achieved nothing by flying off the handle like that, wouldn't you agree? Now, shall we continue? Surely you're not through yet.

[capsulepresident]

[Trunks looks up at his father before not moving, because he's getting a bit worn out.]

What if I say I am? Are you going to call me a coward?

[misterbrief]

I'd say you'd be pretty smart to stop while you're ahead. You may be my son but I've no qualms with making you pay the consequences for attacking me like that. As a matter of fact, that's the only reason why I'm not blasting you into oblivion right about now. [Because really, he doesn't see this fight as training, or even a real fight at all. He sees this as a temper tantrum. And he's pretty pissy about it now.]

Get up. I'm going home, since you're not interested in anything I've got to say unless I'm catering to your pitiful self-conceived notions of what you think are true that you let bind you to this state of uncertainty and despair.

[capsulepresident]

[He slowly gets up wobbling a little and looking worn out. Why? Why won't his father understand? As he hears his father ready to leave, he glares at him with pure anger in his eyes and voice.]

You think I like feeling pressured and expected to be everything others want me to be?! No! I want to live my own life and always have! I'm only doing things out of love and because I want others to be happy before myself! But I can't do it anymore, dad... I can't be what everyone wants me to be. I'm just one person and human, I make mistakes like anyone else. Why am I always expected to be perfect and never wrong? Answer me that, dad!

[misterbrief]

[He glares right back. Vegeta is halfway between just flying off and returning home without so much as giving Trunks the time of day, or screaming right back at him.]

I won't discuss this any further. Perhaps when you've had time to cool down is when I may address this again. It's clear you still lack the ability to grasp these basic concepts even when they're clearly explained to you.

[He feels like his son barely listened to what he had to say earlier.] So this will wait for another day.
