Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test flight for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

o1. The grocery store is out of food. What do you do?
o2. Wing injury! Call for help or stagger your way to one of our fine clinics.
o3. It's a busy evening at Good Spirits, one of Luceti's local bars. Do you dare try the drink specials?
o4. Have a talent for playing music? Try Cloud Nine's open mic night!
o5. Beach party? Snow party? Leaf-raking party? Gardening party? YOU DECIDE.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

Above all? HAVE FUN. Oh. And don't forget to RESERVE your characters.

I'm kind of new around here... er, is this the right way to the recreation center? I still haven't really gotten my bearings yet...

Ah, I believe so. I'm new as well, but my brother has given me a map of this village, if you'd like to see it.

[ Poor Leia. Trucy knows that dealing with a nervous teenager is probably not what this lady wants to do, but honestly, she really does need help, and she IS appreciative. ]

I would love that, if it isn't too much trouble, that is!

[Oh, it's no bother. She'd rather deal with Trucy than a galaxy in turmoil. This was a problem easily fixed.]

Do you have your journal with you? [She pulled out her own plain-covered book for the girl to see.]

[ She visibly brightens and nods, digging around in the little heart shaped purse at her hip. Her own journal is blue and absolutely covered with the same light green and light pink diamond and heart patterns on her cape. ]

I do! Ah... these things are awfully strange. We don't have anything quite like them at home, but we do have tablets and things like that...

They're a little bulky, but they're not so bad. Although, a good droid is impossible to find in this village.

[ Unfortunately for Leia, she's thinking of a completely different 'Droid'. One that has GPS and happens to be more of a Phone than anything, but she nods sagely in agreement at the very least. ]

Yes, they definitely help. They're always good for getting around... I haven't seen anyone using them yet, though. Do you think they even have any here?

I've been searching for one since I arrived, but I don't think they exist here. Unless you craft them yourself. And I have no idea how to even begin a project that time-consuming.

Yeah, I guess it would be pretty time-consuming. I wanted one myself, back at home... but we could never afford it, what with daddy and I struggling to pay the bills right now... well, that just didn't happen. As for making one on my own, I think that's... hey, maybe I could!

I'm sorry that you and your father struggled. It is never easy. Is he here with you?
