Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test flight for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

o2. Wing injury! Call for help or stagger your way to one of our fine clinics.
o3. It's a busy evening at Good Spirits, one of Luceti's local bars. Do you dare try the drink specials?

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

[Well, if she insists.]

[In one fluid motion, he scoops her right up off the ground, so she's being cradled in his arms. Which, he can easily change to a throwing position anytime he wants.]

I'd be careful what you wish for. You just might get it, after all.

VEGETA!!

[ For a moment, she's more shocked than angry, and she quickly clamps her arms around his neck. ]

ARE YOU CRAZY?!

[Chuckling softly at her, his expression softens. He got her again, it was too easy, really. Making her scream, and clinging to him, but he can't help but notice how beautiful she was in his arms. No matter how much she screams at him, and no matter how much he fights back, she's his gorgeous, intelligent wife and he doesn't regret choosing to stay with her over everything else.]

Of course not. Why don't we try having you be quiet for a change.

[He stops walking, holding up her torso closer so he can lean over to softly kiss her lips, locking his own in place on hers as he slowly kisses her, until finally releasing after a moment.

If that doesn't shut her up, he doesn't know what will. And he knows it was good because he's had lots and lots of practice doing this now.]

[ By the time he stops, her face is flushed. She can feel the warmth in her cheeks, and she doesn't even care. As antagonizing as he is, it doesn't matter. She does love him dearly, and Hell, maybe that's one of the reasons why. He's one of the few people who never backs down from her.

She smiles softly, and rests her face against the side of his, closing her eyes. She is quiet... For a moment, anyway. And when she does speak again, it's almost inaudible. ]

Jerk.

You wouldn't have me any other way.

[It was nice, after all their fighting that he could have moments like this with her. He closes his own eyes and enjoys the moment, because it won't last, it never does with her. They'd be back to fighting again soon and he knew it, but that doesn't mean he can't appreciate what he's got right in front of him, which he's taking liberty of doing right now.]

Maybe you're right... But only if you carry me the rest of the way! Otherwise, I'm going to have to request a personality change.

[ She pulls her face back a little, and winks at him. She's only joking, of course... About the personality part. The part about being carried is serious. ]

You're just lazy and don't want to walk is all. I should drop you right now, right on your behind and make you walk home. [He grins though, landing another quick peck on her cheek. He'll carry her, if that's what she wants. He's in a good mood now.]

Hmph! You should feel lucky, getting to carry such a beautiful woman down the street.

[ Finally! Though, she is too. All of the arguing is totally forgotten for the time being, as she happily rests her head against him again, while she has the chance. ]

[He does feel lucky, but not because he gets to carry her.]

I think you're the one who should feel lucky, being carried in the arms of a prince! I don't do this everyday, you know.

You know, it wouldn't be so bad if you did.

[ She closes her eyes, and makes an overly dramatic tsking sound. Though, she does open one again, so she can glance up at him, just to make sure he knows she's joking. She doesn't actually want to get thrown. ]

All that training, and yet you never put it to any use.

[ Because carrying your wife around is obviously more important than saving the universe and all. ]

Hah! Maybe not for your tastes, but I don't train just so I can bend over backwards for my insufferable wife. I've got bigger fish to fry if you haven't noticed. [He knows she's joking, and his tone of voice is reflecting the same back to her. One of this other Favorite Things to Do. Flirt with her.]

It's your insufferable wife who made all of that training possible, so the least you could do is make her feel loved once in a while!

What are you trying to say? I practically shower you in affection! What planet are you living on?! [Argh, why is she so cute. He nuzzles her just to make his point.]

What I'm trying to say is...

[ It starts out light enough. She enjoys the play arguing as much as he does, probably. But it's heading toward a subject that does strike a slightly emotional chord with her. After she pauses, she continues in a softer tone. ]

That I hope you're not going to spend all of your time off training here too.

You know as well as I that I can't afford to rest. I'm not going to leave for twenty hours a day, but I still put in a good amount of time into training. Bulma, there's far too much at stake for me to be lax with preparing myself for the worst. If anything happened to you, Trunks, or Bulla, I'd never forgive myself. You don't know what's happened here and I refuse to stand aside and let the horrors of the war around us come crashing down on our heads.

[He's solemn and serious about that. It's not a laughing matter to him, it's about protecting his family, his friends, and all of Luceti.]

[ That's the way it always goes, isn't it? Even in times of peace, they can't just sit back and enjoy their lives. There's always something more horrible around the corner.

And she'll still help him... Try to give him more outlets, more ways to get the strength he needs. It's the one thing she can't be selfish about, because she does know he does it for her. For all of them to keep living. She's already resolved to keep trying here in luceti, even with the laughable resources they have available to them. She'll do the only thing she can do, help him get stronger so he can come back home sooner.

But she can't even form it into the right words, so there's only a small nod in response. ]

Alright then, it's settled. I'll take a day off once a month, if that will keep you off my back. [His tone of voice isn't annoyed though, it's more matter of fact if anything else. He won't mind taking one day off, but when that day comes we'll see if he truly sticks to his word on it. Maybe it'll be a half day of training and spend the rest of it with his wife.]

I guess I can accept that for now.

[ Really, considering that it's Vegeta, one day off in a month is more than anyone could have imagined. ]

You know I'm going to hold you to that, right?
