Reserves are open and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

[ Ben bit his lip a moment, trying to think of a way to be blunt but express how important this was. He wished he could fall back on making it into a joke, but he owed his dad, however old, more than that. ]

[ Wait--. The moment it was out of his mouth, Ben glanced over at the also-young Anakin Skywalker, realizing that the phrasing might be emotionally resonant for all the wrong reasons. Just when I thought it was impossible to make this any more awkward. ]

For what? [Not that Anakin didn't know what the Holonet said about him - the Hero with No Fear. But no Jedi he knew would admire him for anything he's done in the Clone Wars.]

For the Battles of Christophis? Or Bothuwai? Sullist? Coruscant?

[This was all a bit weird for Anakin. He came from an Order that taught emotional excision; not, for lack of a better word, this kind of indulgence and expression he was feeling from the young man. The amount of emotions he was feeling from the young man would have landed Anakin in a stern lecture from any passing Master.

Was he from Master Altis' group. Anakin had meet the heretic Master only once, briefly. But he knew they didn't approach emotions the same way as the Order did.]

Are you from Master Altis' group? [Of course, if he was, that still didn't explain the odd feeling of familiarity.]

[He wishes he could see her. He has to rely upon the eyes of others, though, and it grates. But the touches communicate just as eloquently, small things upon which he focuses. He leans his face into her hands, eyes shutting as if in some brief pain from that kiss. No, he refuses to shed tears. Not now.

Instead he smiles, as he always does when something hurts. At least this is the sort of pain that heals.] Don't be silly, mother. Everyone knows Loki is a coward. But... [He draws an unsteady breath, fumbling to pluck at her sleeve with one hand.] I am glad you might think such silly things anyway.

[ A coward? A coward. Thor stands to the side to offer Loki the solace he needs so desperately of their mother, but that comment is not one he could stand idly by and permit without some manner of commentary.

It is no silly thought to have and he expresses his displeasure in the only way possible, a finger poked lightly against his temple with a slow and steady pressure.

Not a coward, his little brother. Braver than most he could ever imagine. ]

The Clone Wars --

[ He blurted, in another very un-Jedi-like expression of surprise. Not everyone could have a Jedi Master's sabacc face, especially not on a day like this. He buried his face in his hands a moment, then looked back up at her. The lightsaber style, the clip style -- it made more sense on the context of being several decades older than the lightsabers Ben had grown up with. ]

Alright. That's not too much wilder than -- [ he glanced at his father ] -- ... anything else here.

[Yep, he was definitely not from her time. The fact that he can recognize what the Clone Wars even means is a sign that he's from the future. So either Anakin and Padmé had more kids or this kid is their grandson. Oh Force, there was a whole lot more in store for him before the day was out.]

I think this is just the beginning for you. There was a lot to take in when I first got here too.

[Maybe not as much as she had to catch up on but that doesn't make it any less shocking.]

[Even expecting something shocking and significant, hearing those words from someone is enough to leave even the Jedi Grandmaster poleaxed for a moment. It definitely made sense, now that the words were out. Ben’s eyes, his presence, everything about him practically screamed Skywalker, and deep down Luke had just sort of known. There wasn’t any real need for him to debate it, the Force confirming what he’d already begun to suspect.

Still, he just needed a moment. Taking a few deep breaths, he stood in silence, letting the Force flow through him, calm him and reinforce his mental barriers. There was still more than a small amount of surprise there, but there was another emotion beginning to swell within him. Joy. Pure, undiluted joy. He had a son? A son who’d become a Jedi, clearly. A son who was strong in the Force, and who very clearly had a close connection with him. The shock melted away, and he just grinned.]

I…see. It’s very nice to meet you then. I apologize whole-heartedly for not knowing what to make of this, but this place is...well, it’s complicated. Extremely complicated, as I’m sure you’ve guessed.

[Of course, it brought up another question. One that might lead to some other awkward ones, especially given his relationship here in Luceti: The question of parentage. After all, it took two, and Luke was willing to bet that the dark haired Ami Mizuno was not the mother of this youth. The hair and freckles gave him a hint…but surely no...no it couldn’t be.]

Before I start in on that explanation, can I ask you two questions? The first is…what’s your name? And the second is probably pretty obvious. Who...exactly...is your mother?

[ He trailed off, not completely certain of how to approach this. ]

How barvy would it sound if I told you I think I'm from the future?

I know. I've been to busy with, well, us to figure out why we're here in the first place.

[ The Skywalker-Solo extended family had always had its secrets and complications, but most of the time it was also a family capable of more-or-less focusing on the problem at hand, getting to the bottom of mysterious occurrences, restoring balance to the Force, and moving on. ]

From what I gathered an unknown force drew us to the world and a group known as the Malnosso Organization intercepted us. They're the ones who brought us into this enclosure known as Luceti. There's a guide that can explain things in more depth. The enclosure is mostly forest and there's a small village to the east. That's where you'll find anything you had on you before.

[There's a good chance that's where his lightsaber will be. She felt very uncomfortable here before she'd retrieved her own and maybe it's the same for others as well. A lightsaber was a Jedi's life in her time.]

[Okay, so this young man was from the future. Anakin could accept that. He didn't know much about the future. He knew he had a son - he'd met Luke already - and a daughter, Leia. But she wasn't here. He knew Leia had children. And... he knew that Padmé died... That was the extent of his knowledge about the future because everyone was closed lipped about everything else.

Anakin knew there was more they weren't telling him, but he was trying to respect their request he not press for details... trying to.]

That's something that happens here. Time is... different here. My adult son is here, but back home he'd not been born yet.

Who are you?

I want to be able to read about them first. [Jinora looks over her shoulder at the horse - it will still be there tomorrow. What she asks is not just out of a sense of duty to help with chores but because she wants to spend time with her Gran Gran.] Do you need help?

You guys had spirit pets? [Well, that certainly is one pet that he wouldn't be able to hunt for meat, the perfect pet to hoist upon Sokka, really.] Ikki didn't tell me anything about that. [Then again, she didn't tell him too much about the future as it was. He learned more about it from what Aang told him...] Then again, it's not like we met that many spirits when we were traveling around the world.

... Well, at least many animal spirits.

... that we'd want to keep as pets.

Anyway...

[Sokka actually grins brightly when Jinora laughs. That was the reaction he wanted to get. He likes making people smile, and his goofy side is definitely tailored to those ends.]

Yeah, maybe he's just like that. They all have different personalities. I would have picked the one that didn't like people first. [He shrugs a bit and comes over closer to Sugarfoot and gives her a little pat.] At least you're not like that.

Well, no. I've always been able to see them but no one else could. When we were at the Eastern Air Temple, I met Furry-Foot and his friends. Then Korra needed to go to the Spirit World but she had a hard time so I introduced everyone to the spirits. Uncle Bumi really liked one and he named it Bum-Ju but we were really the other two that connected with them. Meelo has a ring-tailed winged lemur though. [Which was almost like Momo in appearance.] Ikki didn't tell you because she doesn't know. I'm from even further in the future than she is.

What kind did you meet? [She's read the journals but storytime with Uncle Sokka? Much better.

Jinora ducks between the railings to get closer to Sugarfoot. With Sokka here, it would be okay.] What are the other ones like?

[Nagi has been eyeing the journal for a bit now, trying to decide if she wishes to use it. It isn't a hard concept for her to understand surprisingly, though the video has taken her some to get used to. It's entertaining though to watch so many people talk.

It's the Pixie who's more impatient. When the video does switch on, it's all the little devil's doing.]

There, it's going now. So you have to say something!

[What should she say first? She's not exactly shy about talking but... where does she even begin with her questions?]

If I may, I would like to ask some questions so I might add to my conjecture of this place.

[Nagi will be taking in much of the village for the first few days after her arrival. She seems particularly keen on the general store and Slash n' Crash, obviously looking for something when she does visit the stores. One will likewise find her at the library too. At least she's managed to get her regular clothing back by now.

There is always one constant with the teen. No matter where she goes, there seems to be a Pixie settled either on her shoulder, atop Nagi's head or floating along just behind her. And it appears that Nagi herself has lively conversations with the little creature too.]

[Kratos had better not breathe any of those sentiments out loud in front of Simon, because an accusation of being 'irresponsible' wouldn't sit well with him. It's not his fault he spent so much time reading that his fatigue caught up with him. He hasn't been sleeping well since before he even arrived here.

Either way, depending on whether Kratos will bother to mask his footsteps or not, Simon's fingers will twitch. He's a pretty light sleeper, so he should be easy to wake.]
