Reserves are open and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test flight for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

o1. The grocery store is out of food. What do you do?
o2. Wing injury! Call for help or stagger your way to one of our fine clinics.
o3. It's a busy evening at Good Spirits, one of Luceti's local bars. Do you dare try the drink specials?
o4. Have a talent for music? Try playing DJ at HQ, the new nightclub! Don't have one? Just dance your butt off.
o5. Beach party? Snow party? Leaf-raking party? Gardening party? YOU DECIDE.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

Above all? HAVE FUN. Oh. And don't forget to RESERVE your characters.

[And here's teen grandpa, currently around 15, watching over Jinora some yards away with a proud smile. It feels so good to see her again, when it's been so long since the brief time that he had previously known her. He starts to approach her and chuckles.]

Those are the horsies! They do like apples, they just can't have a lot of them.

[She looks over at Aang, her smile only getting bigger at the sight of her grandpa. So she was right when she thought it looked like an ostrich horse. The horse takes the opportunity to stick his nose in her hair and sniff at it. Jinora doesn't mind and the horse looses interest quickly enough.]

I've never seen anything like them, not even in books. [Books could tell her so much about any creature but there was definitely something exciting about seeing them in person.] What else do they eat?

Well you'll see a lot of them here! They're one of those half-animals I told you about. I should show you some books I found about them! [Zoobooks have been infinitely helpful in educating Aang on what the 'half' animals of the various worlds work.]

As for what they eat... They do fine with grass and hay! But some of them like carrots too.

[Grandpa wants to show her books?] After we read all about them can we see the ones that live in Luceti?

[She leans over the railing to pat the horse's neck.] Almost the same as Oogi. I'll bring a carrot too.

[To think, Aang's interest in books started when he met a certain girl who loved to read for the first time. A girl who was standing in front of him now.]

That's a great idea! It'll be like a nature journey. It's a shame that there's not a lot around here that are big enough to ride, though...

[Jinora would feel so honored if she knew that. To have inspired her grandpa to read was amazing.]

Even if we can't ride all of them, we could still play with them.

You're right, Ikki! In the end, it's the playing that's the most important part. We should try to find bunnies sometime!

[spiritwalking]

[Bunnies. Yes. She looks at him curiously. If anyone knew the answer to her questions, it would be grandpa.] Do they look anything like dragonfly bunny spirits? Are they small like in the human world or big like in the Spirit World?

[Living with Ikki this long has made him a pro at answering rows of questions.]

Umm... I don't think I met any dragonfly bunny spirits! But they are small and easy to pet. Bigger then a lemur, smaller than a boarcupine!

[Kids are curious but Jinora doesn't fire off a billion questions in rapid succession. As much as she likes learning new things, she also likes to share information.]

Dragonfly bunny spirits aren't very big in the human world but when you're in the Spirit World, they're big enough to ride. Furry Foot let me ride him when I was separated from Korra there. They are colorful too.

[Now she's picturing a lop-eared rabbit like in his adventure in Omashu.]

What's the biggest animal you've ever seen, grandpa?

Whoa, really? [His eyes widen at that. That is some useful information!] I wanna meet a dragonfly bunny spirit!

But, um... okay. Biggest animal?! I met lots of big animals... but the biggest had to be the lion turtle. You could fit a whole city on him if you wanted to! [And apparently, according to that Wan guy, people did.]

If any of my friends come here, I'll introduce you. [Introducing her grandpa - who is the bridge between the two worlds - to a spirit is not something every little girl can say.]

I read about the lion turtle in journals! It was the one that taught you energybending. [Actually getting to talk about the things she's only read about is very exciting.] What was it like meeting it?

I'd be honored if you did that, Jinora. [There's excitement and warmth in his smile.]

And that's right! Just like always, you know all the answers, Jinora. And meeting it... It's hard to describe. It kind of scary, but also... it felt really awe inspiring. Like I was meeting something a lot bigger than life. And... it was kind of calming, in a way. I knew he wasn't gonna hurt me.

Furry-Foot and Bum-Ju would like you even though they're normally shy. [They liked her siblings even if she had to encourage them to show themselves.

Gosh grandpa, you sure know how praise her.] Not all of the answers. I've just read a lot. [But she looks on with wonder as he describes his meeting with the lion turtle.] That's amazing.

Really? They sound nice! It must help that they have a friend like you!

[Get used to the excessive praise, Jinora. It ain't going anywhere.]</smalL. A lot's still a lot! It was really amazing. I think I learned a lot from that lion turtle.

They're the ones who have helped me more.

[She might not ever get used to it.] I like reading about the adventures you had with everyone. Did you ever see it again?

Nope! It was really mysterious, but he didn't appear to me after that. I wonder where lion turtles live, normally. Something that big should be hard to miss...

[spiritwalking]

[That is an excellent question, grandpa.] Maybe they're hiding in plain sight. They could be living somewhere that everyone can see them but we just don't know it because they've been there for a long time.

That's a good point! A lot of islands could be them all along. You really are smart, Jinora!

[spiritwalking]

Maybe there are villages living on their backs but no one knows.

This just keeps getting more and more mysterious! But that's just like the lion turtles. Always keeping us guessing!

One day, someone might find all of them. That would be an amazing story.

It really would be! You know, someone should make a storybook about that!

[She jumps down from the railing.] Do you really think so?
