Reserves are open and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test flight for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

o1. The grocery store is out of food. What do you do?
o2. Wing injury! Call for help or stagger your way to one of our fine clinics.
o3. It's a busy evening at Good Spirits, one of Luceti's local bars. Do you dare try the drink specials?
o4. Have a talent for music? Try playing DJ at HQ, the new nightclub! Don't have one? Just dance your butt off.
o5. Beach party? Snow party? Leaf-raking party? Gardening party? YOU DECIDE.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

Above all? HAVE FUN. Oh. And don't forget to RESERVE your characters.

[A moment is less than a second?! He never knew that before! But he can't turn this down. With a slight bashfulness, he gives her the injured hand.]

Very well... Rapunzel-san.

[ Smiling calmly, Rapunzel gently holds his hand and wraps strands of her hair around his cut. ]

Flower gleam and glow, let your power shine...

[He looks on in awe, a smile tugging at his lips as he hears her voice sing, and he awaits the results. But with a performance like this, he wouldn't mind waiting forever.]

[ She finishes her song, and as her hair glows with its golden lights, the cut on his hand knits back together. ]

There, that will do.

[ She doesn't drop his hand just yet. ]

[He feels the warm force wash over his hand, and it feels as good as new.

That must be some great magic. Even his heartbeat feels livelier.]

That felt so great! It- it was so beautiful! Thank you so much, Rapunzel-san!

[And he doesn't think to take his hand back just yet.]

[ She positively beams. ]

You're welcome!

[ And it's only after another moment she realizes she's still holding his perfectly whole hand. ]

Oh! [ She lets go quite suddenly. ] S-sorry.

[He flushes and withdraws his hand quickly.]

Ah! It... it was my fault! That was... improper of me. [He rubs at the hand nervously.] You - you did so well.

Ah - thank you. [ She blushes more than she would usually at such a compliment.

What were they doing again? ]

Should we...ahem, count the beans now?

The beans! Yes! Let us do that... It is like an extra challenge! [He says cheerily as he runs over and starts to count, eager to dive into the distraction.]

Um - yes! [ She more or less forces herself to focus now, counting out loud as she starts pooling the jelly beans into neat piles. ]

Ten, fifteen, twenty...forty-five...

[Rock Lee counts some dutifully and methodically, shouting his count very quickly.]

...One hundred! One hundred and five! One hundred and ten!

[How long will this madness go on? As long as we feel like threading out their counting most likely.]

[ SEVERAL HUNDRED BEANS LATER... ]

...Four hundred and forty-two! How many do you have in your pile?

[ HOW SHARP ARE YOUR MATH SKILLS, GORE ]

[SHARPER ENOUGH TO PUNCTURE THE HULL OF A FIRE NATION SHIP]

Four hundred and sixty-eight! My sureness is absolute!

[ Mathematical! ]

That makes...nine-hundred and ten altogether.

[ Which means...

TIME FOR MORE MATH.

After a moment: ] Oh!

Oh?! [He exclaims in shock, not sure what conclusion is being reached.]

That is... neither of our guesses!

Right! And unless I'm mistaken in my math, I believe my guess was closer!

Rapunzel-san... [His gaze glimmers with pride.] I believe in your math with all of my heart! You have defeated me in a challenge!

[He bows to her.]

Thank you for being such an incredible opponent!!

[ She bows in return! ]

Thank you for the challenge! I feel invigorated now.

I am even gladder to hear that!! Nothing is more reassuring than hearing that a challenge really gets the blood pumping! Ah... and what were the terms of your victory? I believe that you are entitled to the 'victory cake' that you mentioned, Rapunzel-san!

Oh, right! [ She'd gotten so caught up in enjoying herself, she completely forgot about the victory cake! ] Will you have a slice with me, Lee?

Ah, but... such a cake should only be for the victor. Correct?

Not if I'm deciding, as the victor, to share it with you!

Rapunzel-san... That- that would be too generous!

I'm not going to have to force you to eat cake, am I?

[ SHE WILL. ]

[He stops for a moment. And then he smirks as he raises a hand in challenge.]
