Reserves are open and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

o5. Beach party? Snow party? Leaf-raking party? Gardening party? YOU DECIDE.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

Harmonic Convergence has come more than twice. But your words imply you speak of a different two than I am aware of. Tell me what you know, human.

Yes. You and Wan were successful in stopping Vaatu, trapping him in the Tree of Time but the two of you were bonded. Humans left the backs of Lion Turtles after Wan separated the Spirit World from the mortal realm by closing the portals with most of the spirits on the other side but peace still wasn't obtained.

When he died at the end of his time the two of you were reincarnated into an Air Nomad. A cycle was created that we began to call the Avatar. As time went by people forgot that the two of you were trying to bring peace not just between humans but also between humans and spirits. They forgot about you and Vaatu, most of them anyway.

So when the next Harmonic Convergence came around the Spirit Portals were opened again and a man, Unalaq intended to bond with Vaatu. They succeeded. You and Korra, the most recent reincarnation, fought them but they were too strong due to the war Unalaq had instigated in preparation. They ripped you from Korra and destroyed not just you but the bond you shared with her and all of the past lives. When Unalaq and Vaatu began to attack one of the human cities, Korra managed to fight them off while trying to find light in the dark. I sensed it and brought your light back into the world which allowed Korra to pull you from the darkness and defeat Unalaq and Vaatu by purifying the Dark Spirit. Before Harmonic Convergence was over, you and Korra bonded once again.

The Spirit Portals remain open so that humans and spirits can try to live together peacefully. [It's not perfect yet but they're working on it. There are more Airbenders to try to help bring that peace about now.]

[Raava listened in silence and remained silent for some time after Jinora quieted. The tale was one that, by many standards, could be considered too fantastical to be real. But it was not in Raava's nature to believe she might be being lied to. Even about this.

While much of what she said was disturbing, Raava found herself unable to feel anything but the heaviness of duty.

Eventually, she spoke, her voice softer, but no less firm than usual.]

Then it would seem the world, and I, owe you a great debt for allowing my return before I would naturally return. What is your name, human?

[spiritwalking]

[It wasn't in Jinora's nature to lie but Raava doesn't know that yet. She doesn't know this young airbending master. But she will. One day.

She shakes her head.]

It's us that owe you a debt, Raava. You have been keeping the balance for longer than we ever realized, it was only right that I should help. My name is Jinora.

[Well, flattery didn't get you everywhere with Raava, but sincere respect was a good start.]

There is no debt owed me. It is my duty and purpose to maintain the balance.

[Troubling as it was that she would bond with Wan to do so, it was comforting to know that they would succeed in defeating Vaatu and continue to maintain that balance. But the revelation also meant that despite having been brought to Luceti, whatever time she would be forced to spend there would not keep her from her task.

Raava couldn't exactly relax in way that was recognizable as such, but there was some worry that left her. She did not have to hurry now and could take the time to indulge in some personal curiosities. Though, she did still have a concern that she felt compelled to ask about.]

I was with Wan before I found myself here. Have you seen him, human?

[Yeah, she knew Jinora's name now, but habit was habit.]
