Um, anyway! Everyone, I want you to tell me about your favorite pies. I'm trying to come up with some new recipes, but then I remembered I'm here, so there has to be a bunch of people from worlds with totally huge piles of pie recipes in it, right? I mean, it would be way too sad if your world didn't have any pie in it ... I just can't imagine a world like that ...

[... A few seconds of quiet as she seems to be contemplating, then she realizes how off-track she's getting and starts talking again.]

So I'd like to hear about those pies, and maybe get their recipes too, if anyone has them!

[A big, cheery smile, and she waves at the screen -- though, with how close she is, it probably looks more like she's trying to wipe off the journal's camera.]

Pies, huh? Well... I don't know Mom's recipe for it, but she made this Netherberry pie that was out of this world.

...I'm getting hungry just thinking about that one.

Um. I'm not sure how to describe it. It's this sweet berry that grows in the Netherworld.

Ohhh, so it's a sweet berry. "Nether" made it sound like it'd be totally bitter. [That aside though--] Hmmm, I wonder if there's anything in this world that's like that? I could try to replicate it if there is!

I haven't found anything quite like it. Part of it was that it was sweet, but when it got baked, it lost some of its sweetness so it wasn't overpowering.

Was really good in pastries because of it...

I guess my favourite kind would be anythin' with seafood or meat in. I'm not a fan of the dessert types.

Oh, I know plenty of pies like that! In fact, I just recently came up with some really yummy fish pie recipes! It's a lot easier to make than I thought it'd be, actually ...

Um, well, cooking can be pretty hard sometimes! It really depends on the kinds of things you're making ... But the way I cook can be reaaaaally difficult. I can still try to teach you, but you have to prepare yourself for a lot of hard work, okay?
